oh my goodness! Attention everyone: There is clearly no 31st in February and it wasn't in 1908. It was a sarcastic joke! Maybe that'll squash this all. haha. It just didn't work and wasn't humorous bc some pilots, especially today, do air eventually, so it didn't work at all, but IT WAS A JOKE! haha.

Since CBS's apparently granting somebody's wish and bringing back Password next month, here's some other game shows I think would be cool to see comeback for at least a few months: Blockbusters, Trivia Trap, and Concentration. But who am I kidding? They'll probably get canned within 3-4 weeks of airtime. Meanwhile, flash forward to 2098 A.D., and I'll bet friggin' "Cliff Hangers" will STILL be an active pricing game...... yodeling music and all!
The board sure is LOUD with all the crazy colors. Speaking of which, doesn't the monitors go all the way to the top under the 10,000 sign in the run? They did a pretty good job making the gameplay more simpler in this round when they went to air.
You never, ever saw the Bob Eubanks' Wardrobe Furnished By 'Botany 500' notice since he and the contestants all wore sweaters. The theme song is arranged in different order as well.
Howdy "Doodie"? I don't think so.

And BTW, there is no February 31st. The month only goes as far as the 29th.

Pilots never air, and if they read the description they would know that it never aired, I was being sarcastic.

Besides, Trivia Trap premiered in 1984, not '80. And another thing: It's his funny, yet insulting way of saying that this pilot never aired.

Whereas the "safe"/"go for it" option should've been used in the series' main game, this bonus round would've been a bit time-consuming.

Why real fee plugs at the end of the 1984 Trivia Trap pilot?
heine71 3 years ago
At the ladder, there was none of the following:
The order of play by strength in the trivia race;
No pass or play option;
And the question had to be answered directly, no cutting answers.

I like what did in the actual production to speed up the pace of the game and bonus round.

The last Trivia Ladder question in the pilot is the same as the regular show.
TVLubber 3 years ago
except on the last level.

@StFidjnr
That's what I just said. The last question in the Trivia Ladder (which is ON the last level) is the same as it was in the regular show.

You'll notice that the $10,000 group of answers are in red instead of green.

And not to throw a spoiler in here, but since this is a pilot and a win is just about expected, that same wild siren goes off for a $10K win.

You mean the "clang clang clang whoop whoop whoop" from the $10K Bonus Spin on TPIR?

They've should passed it.
