the croatian version is actually jel' mi vjeruješ. To believe in Croatian is vjerovati and not vjeriti (that exists only in russian)

Serbian, Croatian and Bulgarian are gonna be more similar then Russian because Serbians, Croatians, and Bulgarians are Yugoslavian (meaning they are South Slav, NOT talking about the former country)

@PrEppYNYCBoi Bulgarian is still has a quite different grammar from Serbian, Croatian and all other slavic languages because we dont have the cases and we've got many many more verb tenses as well as definite articles, just to name a few. "macedonian" is the only language/dialect which resembles bulgarian in terms of these differences :)

@DetektivConan1994 Hehe, you're right, but it looks nicer because it's just shortened form of "li", therefore because 'i' is omitted in pronunciation, apostrophe comes to it's place /l'/.

Actually,

Serbian version is: Da li mi veruješ? - Da.

Croatian version is: Da li mi vjeruješ? - Da.

The only difference is the "j".

@dbogdanovic1987 Lol! And in Bulgarian if it was "Do you trust me?" it would be, "Вярваш ли ми?" ("Vyarvash li mi?") Again, pretty much the same... It could be also "Dali mi vyarvash?" or "Nali mi vyarvash?" but that's a little strange word order for that question. I can actually understand all the 4 languages here but I speak only bulgarian... :)

Actually, we use both versions:

Da li mi veruješ? (Да ли ми верујеш?)

Veruješ li mi? (Верујеш ли ми?)

The meaning is pretty much the same.

@Zunesrthebest almost, serbia has mostly an ekavic accent, croatia mostly ijekavic and ikavic, and they use different words, serbia has more turkish influances and croatia more italian influences. also the grammar can be a little different. though this is very general and not always true:) youre right though, its basicly the same language given that the official name of the language is 'srpskohrvatski'

@Zunesrthebest It's nearly identical, it's just dialect pretty much. Comparable if you live let's say in New York. the dialect would be different if you were to travel to Texas.

Ermm, Croatian & Serbian are even closer to each other than Indonesian & Malay, Lao & Thai, Urdu & Hindi, Tajik & Dari. Each pair variants of the same language.

Croatian and Serbian are almost the same. There are some differences, but Croats and Serbs can understand each other without any problems :)

Very cool! My wife is Bulgarian, so I love hearing all of these different variations. I want to learn "A Whole New World" in Bulgarian and sing it for her :P
