  • @aiden4343ify this is for people who

    A. don't want to spend ten bucks to get it fixed

    B. for people who don't live anywhere near either of those places.

  • you need a tool like a drill. it's too much manual labor.

  • nvrm

  • does it work for ps2 game that is burned

  • @6662889 is it a cd?? then yes of course

  • does it work for laser burns?

  • @thekristiannorris no clue, i would assume a laser burn would be on the actual data which is written on the underside of the label.. not into the plastic disc

  • THUMBS UP IF THIS HAPPENED 2 U :u bought a original xbox 360 white fresh when it first came out then it started to fail reading games:open tray or to play game put game on xbox 360 U fixed it for $100//then it started to scratch your games aka perfect circle problem and fixed it for$80 then fixed each scratched games for $5//then,ur xbox got a RrOD red ring of d3@TH i fixed that for $80 ///this happens when u buy something from a company called MICRO PIECE OF SHIT/:THUMBS UP IF THIS HAPPENED 2U

  • @goldog310alex nope never happened

  • So, i just tried this on my GRID CD, which wouldn't install before. I used Maguires Cleaner Wax (the only kind i would ever use on my truck) and qtips. I did 2 coats and rubbed the wax in real fine. Works like a charm. Thanks!

  • @DriverPaulK no problem man, glad it helped

  • e-mail me at zhasting@yahoo.com

  • @dragonLover47560 what the hell for?

  • does it really work if it does provit by taking another cd thts damaged and do the same thing u did in this vid no fast play no switching disic's n try it on ur system i ant going to ruin my game or wast money on micro car polish stuff tht i dont even need

  • DONT DISLIKE! But I think you can't really take off the scratches because the scratches are like holes and the polish, or toothpaste wont really fill up the holes (scratches) But, I may be wrong. :P

  • @iMobinator because the data is not written on the plastic of the disc you can sand down the surface so to speak in order for the laser to read the data easier. (to get rid of things that get in the way of reading ie. scratches) so with polish you are grinding a thin layer off of the cd

  • @Dom24seven hey can i use turtle wax car polish

  • @116Homeboi i'm sure that would be fine

  • were can you buy the micro polshish

  • @moonbound100 walmart

  • What can I use if I didn't have a car polish?

  • would the car polish work for deep scratches cuz my mw2 has deep scratches

  • I have the same tiny semi circle on my black ops disk :(

  • @ramshaxoxo try this method, it got the disk working practically perfect for me again

  • @Dom24seven Hey help over here, i got my Mario Galaxy disc scratched badly and my wii won't read it, it only says " the game disc could not be read".

  • @Dom24seven what's the effects before you cleaned your game disc to your xbox 360, did it restart your console??

  • @ramshaxoxo yea i got it 2 it is called the perfect circle look it up on youtube

  • what kind of polish do you recomend

  • @carroll224 any micro car polish. but a polish, not the nano gel for cars, it dosen't help much

  • Ah! you moved your xbox with the disk in it.

  • @TheSonicTurtles exactly right

  • I would watch the whole thing but i aint got time for 3 minutes lol

  • My daughter was freaking out that her video game for xbox was not working, ran through your process one time and worked like a charm!!!! She is back up and dancing lol

  • @noleyan glad you were successful, i have been nothing but satisfied with this method

  • is there a runner up to car polish?

  • wow way to get more scratches

  • @G1ich3zss no believe me, you can never really see the scratches disappear, they only fade. but i got my cod black ops which didn't play any multi player maps to work perfectly for all but one map. I absolutely guarantee you get (some) improvement with this method!

  • is there any substitute for car polish?

  • @ghaniangurl101 bananas work great.. just kidding, no i haven't really had luck with anything but car polish. you can pick some up for cheap at any local store

  • @Dom24seven alright, thanks!

  • @ghaniangurl101 no problem

  • @ghaniangurl101 There are probably alternatives to car polish, it's similar in a way to toothpaste in that it's a very fine abrasive. Flouride or other additives don't clean teeth, it's the up and down motion of the toothbrush with the mild abrasive action of the paste. The problem is unrealistic expectations of the method applied to discs, and wooly thinking. Why would leaving the toothpaste on for 5 minutes help? It won't, it doesn't fill-in the scratches, it only works as an abrasive.

  • Comment removed

  • @ghaniangurl101 (2) Jeweller's Rouge is a fine abrasive, but you're less likely to have that than car polish. I don't drive, so I don't have it either, but it's worth looking out for a cheap bottle. Otherwise, try toothpaste, but as Dom23seven says, don't rub the disc too hard when applying polishing compound, and try to go in straight lines from the centre of the disc outwards; discs are recorded 'around' the disc, you'll make it worse if you polish in that direction.
