Why do you fill the aeropress all the way up with water? Isn't the idea with aeropress that you push it down with airpressure? And when you top it with water after pouring it doesn't it get really weak? I don't have one of these but im thinking of getting one, heard a lot of good things about them.
@PearTree37067 Hi Pearl - I roast all our coffee, and we have green beans on hand from Kenya, Timor, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Ethiopia, Honduras, Sumatra, Java, and Ecuador right now.
We roast it to Full City Plus (just barely into second crack). This is several steps lighter than Vienna or French roast.
@guitarlj I usually just buy a bag of Lavazza Red or Gold! I've tried some nice single origins from Ethiopia, India, Brasil and Dominican Repulbic. I want to get a nice stock of good coffee to use with this Aeropress.
lcapi - I use 1/4 cup grounds so i fill it to make it the right amount of coffee. No it doesn't get weak.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive and looking forward to using it. What coffee do you use?
