Nice job with the solo, I have been playing around with a friends whammy and you sure can get some crazy sounds with it. Also your picking hand looks all crazy on the part after the solo. You look like a robot or something. lol

Btw, is that a whammy pedal you're using in the solo? Sounds totally spot-on (even more than what I thought possible without his original gear)

@EspectroMascarado The key to good muting is low gain. Whammy pedal I'm using is THE Digitech Whammy pedal.

@wasitthat Then that explains why my muting always sucks (I have to rely on my amp's overdrive - which sucks with low gain - and have no footswitch) but thanks for the advice, I'll see if I can find a way to use it.

And man... that's quite a set-up you have, I'm always amazed how you can hit the exact tone of the original songs (or at least get pretty damn close).

@wasitthat People are always surprised how good of a tone you can achieve with low gain. Even for metal. And you have to work harder to make yourself sound better with low gain since you don't have all that distortion covering up your mistakes.

@EspectroMascarado I didnt have earbuds in, speakers are a bit iffy.

And I am subscribed and have heard other covers so I have no doubt that he's playing. Just the tone was either matched perfectly or volume was too low.

I wouldn't accuse him of faking it, i'm not that low. Just couldn't distinguish the sounds. I only watched this to end of 1st chorus as well.
