@jaymibugs None taken because good gymnastics wasn't the point. There are a few very talented 9's & 10's competing today from this group. We have plenty of good footage of these kids. As stated in the description, this was meant to be a goofy look at the personalities and we had to dig to find horrible video clips. :-)

Wow, you did a great job with this video!! It's so cute, everyone who posted a negative comment need to realize that all gymnasts have bad days and off meets, even elite gymnasts.....Believe it or not bent legs, missed kips, scary vaults, wobbly beams are all part of the sport of gymnastics.

oh my goodness. their gymnastics makes me question the ability of the coaches.. if i had done gymnastics like that when i was still competing, i would've been kicked out of the gym. it would be considered completely unacceptable.

@iloverocknroll888 This was all unacceptable video, we had to look pretty hard to find it. As stated in the description it was a humorous look at personalities rather than perfect gymnastics. I think I read in a Gymnastics publication that the compulsary level of this sport is riddled with ADD/ADAH. Think about it....... at a compulsary meet you need to focus for what? 3min 20sec. On the other hand I think ADD/ADHD just looking at the neighborhood kids playing in my back yard. Only difference is they arent doing layouts, back handsprings or swinging bars. ADD/ADHD or not I admire any child who works to a point where they can compete in this sport at any level. ; - )

Candy, We used parent provided video from the meets then shot interview footage after we picked the clips of the bad routines. It was all edited together on an iMac using Final Cut Pro. Minus the specialized masking for the inside the head scenes but you could do the majority of this in iMovie (an application that is free with every Mac). If you have access to a Mac you should give it a try. Do it once and it becomes quite easy to do. ; -)
