  • Too bad I can't hear any rumble.

  • Nice truck and nice sound!

  • @brainards1 thank you

  • @DarrenWS6 your'e welcome!

  • Nice truck by the way but how much did the dual Magnaflow cost for you?

  • thank you. $490 for mufflers, tips, and install cost.

  • @DarrenWS6 you should have done it yourself for way cheaper.

  • @stormkid198 How would I be able to without having a smooth pipe bender, welder, welding skills, and needed supplies, and especially a hoist. I have almost $700 invested now due to my latest changes from last spring.

  • my dad used to have one of these truck that thing had torque up the ass i loved driving that beast

  • Your truck sounds real nice i got the a similar truck mines an 06 supercrew. im thinking about getting the exhaust done and this video has helped convice me alot. will a normal magnaflow muffler get a similar sound without being dualed?

  • Yeah a 14" single inlet dual outlet muffler will sound similar, especially after the break-in period.

  • Nice truck BTW.

  • 5.4l triton's are fucking slow!

  • Jesus fucking christ man GET A LIFE OTHER THAN TALKING SHIT ONLINE LOW LIFE FUCK!

  • OOOOO someone is getting angry and swear words wow your a mature 20 year old FAGGOT!

  • and your a stupid fucking useless condom break inncident that enjoys talking shit about people that actually make sucess out of themselves and talks shit on the internet.

  • No your truck is quiet and it slow thats the truth mined better so shut the fuck up i win you lose!

  • ok ok already fine, if its the only thing you got going on for yourself then yes you win...... enjoy.

  • @DarrenWS6 haha my truck sounds like a jet WOT going by with my dynomax muffler, and it's definetly way faster than this one. 07 f150 fx4 flareside. edge evolution chip, airaid cold air intake.

  • @stormkid198 Well, I don't try to be 'fast' with my truck, its a truck... there is no fast truck, making a truck fast is a useless waste imo. I also run dual Bullets now.

  • @DarrenWS6 so a fast vehicle that can drive in any environment is a useless waste? wow where have i been for the last ten years. when did this shit change?

  • @stormkid198 I never stated that, I just said using a pickup truck to make a speed demon is, thats what Mustangs and F-bodies are for. And being hard on them they still get better fuel mileage. This truck just daily drives and works. I have never considered it fast, even though some of my changes and custom tune have woken it up more in the torque department, its still a pick up truck.

  • A 5.4 Triton might be slower than the 5.3 Vortec, but your truck actually has to be running to win a race Chevy boy. Have fun in bankruptcy.

  • That has nothing to do with the truck and my truck could waste yours in a race well being way louder too!

  • Why are you racing your truck anyways? My dad had a GMC Sierra with the 5.3 Vortec and it was quick, but not as fast as you make it seem.

The F-150's have high towing, payload, reliability ratings, safety ratings, traction, etc.

I have a 1992 Ford F-150 with a 4.9 Liter Inline 6, if you can't beat me in a race your truck is slow as shit. But my truck will and has lasted longer than yours will.

One last thing, if I want to dust your ass in a race, I'll get a supercharged Harley Davidson F-150

  • All fords are slow 5.4 trion what a fucking joke i don't care i am 17 its all about the speed my truck does 6-7 sec in a 0-60 supercharged harly davidson still slow those do 6 sec with a supercharger lol!

  • If it's all about speed then buy a fuckin car you pussy. My mom's Altima would beat your POS Chevy in a race, and then when your truck breaks down my tough Ford will pull your ass into a river where your truck belongs.

  • This shit is quiet!

  • you need some headers

  • I've thought about it but I dont want that much extra sound. Its quite a bit louder now than it was in this video.

  • wow gas must b cheap where u live

  • ok? Well this was September 2008, back when it was $4.10 a gallon

  • Darren, how loud would this be compared to the 14" si/do that I am planning on doing. I'm not doing cat work, just muffler, pipes, tips

  • During acceleration it would be similar, but the stock cats will hold back alot of volume so maybe 20% quieter than this.

  • i like it, i think i'm gonna do this on my 07 f150, could u tell me where you got it and exactly what model, like if it was a package or something like, thanks, jon

  • I designed it and bought mufflers and tips, and my exhaust guy bent and installed it. Buy your choice of mufflers and tips and have a shop run it how you want.

  • cutting cats off is a not good for inspection it is an automatic fail and the feds can charge you,i am a inspector at a ford dealership,if that truck came to my shop for inspection i will fail it no questions asked, its came from the factory with 4 cats for a reason,

  • Well aren't you a tree hugger....

  • Lol get your license kiddo. Its called emission standards. Every state has their own standards that HAVE to met.

  • Just get off your high horse and quit being such a tree hugger fool.

  • Who the fuck you callin a tree hugger you stupid kid? All I said was that every state has their own emission standard and some states require you take an emission test. So fuck you stupid kid. Get your fucking license before come on here rambling about people being a tree hugger. If I was a tree hugger, I wouldnt smoke my tires till theres nothin but metal. I wouldnt be blowin out soot out of my friends 350 PSD.

  • Me get my license? As in to drive? I've had mine for 4 years. For both cars/trucks and my motorcycle. So how does that got to do with anything?

  • i have 07 4.6 supercrew, i just put true dual cherry bomb glasspacks on my truck and it changed the performance you need a x-pipe to maintain or gain any performance on our trucks. the X-Pipe change my throttle response tq and hp it is not sluggish anymore

  • Awesome. Did you run without an X before? I did an H pipe on my old truck, and tried X this time around. Much happier.

  • no, i had a flowmaster si/do dump with stock y pipe, this past saturday i had the dual glasspacks with the x-pipe install i really love driving now, having an x-pipe really makes a difference. i orderd it from jegs (narrow x-pipe $65)

  • Hey i have a 04 1500 chevy seen you had a 6.0 before the ford.. did the chevy resin in the cab bad with the flow 44... and now with the ford does the magnaflow do any with all done.. cuz on my chevy i del. cats and it resin so put on cherry bomb extreme(bad choice) and made it worse need some input

  • My Silverado was very obnoxious in-cab. Granted it was true dualed with hi-flow cats, and the mufflers were mounted under cab a little, It was fun for the first 20 minutes but then it got really annoying. My F150 is more peaceful in-cab, you hear it lowly while driving, mostly hear it under acceleration, I like the Magnaflows much more than Super 44s. Much better performance from the F150 too, Magnaflow is a much better muffler.

  • so u think the magnaflow with si/do with a 14" body would sound dang good then??

  • Yeah it would/ Much clearer and better toned than a Flowmaster.

  • for the f-150 I was told that with the magnaflows you have a higher chance of burning valves, what you know about that? where did you get your kit from?

  • Thats not true, if a vehicle has no cats, and no mufflers o straight through mufflers, theres a risk in cold temps, but with cats there no problem.

  • so where did you get your setup?

  • Bought the tips and mufflers from Summit, had my exhaust shop install it to my preferences.

  • darren take your truck out on some dry pavement and rip a doughnut and take a vid of it. that would be sick

  • Will soon, when it warms up this spring. I'm buying wheels & tires soon so i'll thrash the old tires away then sell the wheels.

  • sweet. i just did one the other day. ive got an 06 just like yours and thought about it- wished more people did them on here witht the 04-08's so i could watch..

  • I did one on a snowy road, check it out if you haven't, i'll try a couple when I have an area to do a few without getting caught. My area is very limited and the roads are small, the best areas for that kind of stuff are deep on town which I cant get away with. I know my 3.73 LSD rear will lock them both up well though

  • yep.. dry pavement's the best show

  • if you get tires and rims man u should get dick cepek black with aluminum finish and the fun country 2 tires from them in 33" ,you may want to get them fender plastics OEM from ford just to prevent stone chips cuz ur truck has a nice colour . my truck right now has a 3" sky jacker suspension lift, 35" dick cepek tires with the american racing black and aluminum rims, bushwacker flares, edge chip,K&N filter. my mistake was goin flowmaster 40 muffler.i'm ripin my rear cats off soon ..

  • Sounds like a nice setup. I think I have sold myself on 18x9 Moto Metal 951s in black ( have a little extra blacl paint work added ) with 5.71 backspace to keep them tucked in some, and for tires 33x12.5 Toyo Open Country M/Ts.

  • hey i was lookin at ur other video and noticed that you said that a true dual actually cuts on horsepower? i always heard lowering your back pressure would help it have more performance?

  • also in ur initial exhaust video for this truck i didnt' see where your x pipes were??

  • Hey darren whats louder you think flowmaster super 44 or magnaflow ?

  • Super 44, unless you go with hi-flow cats then the Magnaflow will be.

  • mind me asking.. jw what do you do for work?>

  • landscaping, part time contracting/auto detailing

  • did you notice any power, throttle response gain after going true duals with a X-pipe. and did any check engine lights come on after

  • Not really, no loss, yet no real gain, but mid rpm is a little better, and high end rpm is better. Low end got worse, but economy went up 1mpg more. No engine light.

  • lmao

  • Whats funny?

  • Sounds good!!

  • Thank you.

  • do i hear a leak at 1:48-1:49?

  • no, true duals on a truck ( especially thick pipes like 2.5" ) make and air like sound at certail rpms under 2000. My old truck did it too. Trucks not tuned to run 2.5" dual exhausts.

  • Nice man sounds good. nice clean sound. ha mine still sounds better tho. :)

  • thanks. well get a video up & prove it haha

  • sweet ass truck. was the exhaust professionally installed? if so, how much did it cost?

truck would look sick with a lift IMO

  • Thanks, yes it was. It says in the description "Total invested into my exhaust, $510.44". Someday when I have the funds for a Fabtech 6".

  • $510.44 was only for parts right? i trying to get a flowmaster for my truck professionally installed and was wondering how much it cost for installation only?

  • No thats the grant total of everything, parts and labor for install. The install costed me $230 for what I requested, if you go with a single muffler you could be looking at $100 - $200 installed varied.

  • its got a nice ring to it

  • thanks. sounds better now since its more broke in.

  • i dont think the converter is cut out is it?

  • ITs running the front cats only, the rears that resonate most sound are removed.

  • is cutting of the second set of cats illegal? did you replace the stock cats? Your truck sounds really good. I have an FX4 with flowmaster 40s but its just not loud enough.

  • technically it is, and technically it isn't. In my case it is, its altering OEM equipment. The rear converters on 04 - 05 models only resonate sound, and partially filter with the rhodium inside them, but they were not O2 monitored, I have no check engine light. As long as them front cats are in, its pretty much legal. Some emissions stations say if it doesn't have as many cats as it had from factory, it fails, other let it slide if it has cats and no engine light.

  • so this is what you got rid of the chevy for... not bad man not bad... anyways thanks for making the chevy vids with the super 44, i was having a hard time deciding which exhaust to get then i saw your video and thats all it took got one myself now.

  • not bad not bad, lol, i can tell you wanna say "what the hell man??" lol. awesome, good choice. I may get Super 44s this spring.

  • thanks for makin all these videos man, I got the exact same truck exept grey and now I know what exhaust to put on it, thanks!

  • awesome man, no problem, videoing is a hobby.

  • chill buddy chhhiiillll its a nice truck haha i have one too

  • you have a million videos of the SAME thing... thats what it means by YOU are obsessed lmao faggot fuck

  • not obsessed, stupid fuck, they're comparing videos, you dont know a single fucking thing about how mufflers work, how chambered and direct flow ones work, they louden and change tone after awhile, i'm just getting videos for people on the websites i'm membered on, and i have a camcorder that ran near $1k, i might as well use it, so dont fucking watch my shit if you just wanna be a little prick about it, sad thing is i'm younger than you and your talking shit... have fun fucking your sister.

  • it sounds alright by the way dont take it too much up the @ss

  • what the fuck does that mean? Fuck face.

  • lol u are just obsessed arent u

  • niice

  • sounds awesome

  • Im just asking.

  • hey man got mine on thinkin bout choppin my last cats off...did u lose any gas mileage...like enough to care about? lol

  • no, it raised 0.1mpg. I checked twice. Make sure you do not have emissions.

  • fuck yea sounds good

  • Darren Is that 4WD?

  • ofcoarse. I wouldn't ever buy a 2wd truck.

  • well i installed 1 in june 21 of this year how long do u think untill that baffle plate inside will break out?

  • well like I said it all depends, maybe it will, maybe it wont, the temperature and scavenging pressure will either destroy it or wont. Its aluminized steel so it wont last forever.

  • how loud are the magnaflows?

  • listen to the video. Thats pretty much how it is in real life. Very quiet idle, real rich/deep sounding accel/low rpm, deep roaring WOT, and it can be heard inside a bit, nothing obnoxious like Flowmaster though.

  • wat is ur opinion on the cherry bomb extreme muffler?

  • Its loud, but its cheap. Made of cheaper steel than a Flowmaster, and overtime the baffle plate inside may break out from the heat of the exhaust. I wouldn't ever buy any Cherrybomb. Flowmaster is the lowest I would drop to. Their mufflers sound good, the Super 44 in particular, but will rust up unless you paint it with high temp paint.

  • wat would u recommend for a 91 chevy blazer with a 5.7 350 n it?

  • Want a real loud rebel rumble with a deep low rpm? Flowmaster Super 44. Want an constantly deep tone system and great low end torque & economy increase? Magnaflow, I would get the 14" body.

  • hey man that sounds great.i loved ur chevy better i am a chevy guy.ur rite about small mufflers.

  • Thanks. I always liked Ford more.

  • hey i decided to get a 1 chamber 1 in 2out 3 inch tubing with 5 inch tips. it sounds sick and looks good it has a nice growl to it. by the way im not really a ford guy but ur truck sounds nice

  • cool. thanks.

  • got to admit sounds good. would u recommend getting the same true dual magnaflows on my chevy 2500hd? i like the sound

  • Sure, keep the stock 3" pipes, have an X pipe installed, and I would actually say maybe the 14" body or 18" body Magnaflows. 6.0L is a hell of alot louder than the 5.4L thats why I got the smallest muffler I could.

  • i know this is a video about ur ford but when u had ur chevy did ur true duals sound more like a reg single in dual out or more like straight pipes do when they pop when u hit the throttle? I dont know what exhaust to get for my new 00 GMC 5.3L

  • My Chevy sounded true duals because it was true dualed with Super 44s. They were deep and low and loud at idle, and sounded the same on regular acell, sounded like straights on WOT though which was awful. Look at my videos and find the fly by video of the Chevy. Look into Magnaflow for your GMC.

  • i like the sound of them better when they have a deep rumble to them. i want something thats gonna be really loud but i dont want them to pop as bad a straights do. What do u think would be best for what im looking for. i dont care if its flowmaster or magnaflow i just want it to sound good. i was thinkin about getting a 1 chamber muff. 1 in 2 out and whatever tubing fits a 5" tip.

  • lol fucking pontiac..

  • awesome. If you go Super Duty will it be diesel or gas?

  • fucking pontiac! haha, thats hilarious!

  • lol yep it was hahaha

  • yea, so im guessing thats ur little brother?

  • nope, my friends brother, hes crazy and pretty funny and extreme at times.

  • awesome... what kind of extreme stuff does he do? Parkours fucking AWESOME!!

  • He shows off on his ATVs and dirt bike alot, gets a few close calls, prior to this recording he had a hoodie with a Ford logo on it, a GMC truck was coming down the road, he ran towards the side of the road holding the Ford logo on the hoodie up to the guy and he saw lol, pretty funny kid.

  • haha awesome... thats something i would do, cept the other way around, im a chevy guy. but i do like fords, just f-250 king ranch and lariats

  • lol thats cool. I wish I could have kept my Silverado along with this truck. I would have lifted the Chevy and used it for wood hauling and beating on, having fun with. Use the F150 for daily driving, sounding good & clear, and comfortable.

  • yea thats cool. im still debating between an 08' silverado crew cab z71 or an 08' f-250 king ranch... i just dont know

  • well figure out what kind of work you will be doing, because the new Silverado is weaker than ever, has a good engine, but the body strength is pathetic. Thinner steels, and more plastics. Real good fuel economy from those though, and the ledgendary Chevy respect.

  • yea idk, but i do have much respect for chevy especially since it was the first truck to reach 1,000,000 miles!! we'll see, i still have a couple months to think about it

  • sounds good man fuckin pontiac! lmao

  • thanks man, lol yep

  • Sounds Awsome man!!!

  • thanks

  • Sounds great man! Two thumbs up!

  • Thanks Neal!

  • nice review

  • thank you.

  • damn darren. i am very impressed at the magnaflows.

  • thanks man. Best system i've ever had on any vehicle yet.

  • yeah, i think i can agree with you, just based on the comparison of the ford and the chevy. I have just gotten me some American Eagle Wheels put on my old chevy. They look like the American Racing Torque thrusts, just not as expensive lol. they made my truck look a million times better. hoping to soon have a camera that records good sound,so i can put some vids up. i think youll be very impressed with my truck and its exhaust system

  • sounds a lot better

  • thank you.
