No not at all, he's just speaking about how this apparently uncivilised tribe in Africa had knowledge of a star that up until 1970 hadn't been discovered, yet the knew about it...same with the central and south american civilisations who had really impressive knowledge of the stars and alot of respect for that field of science
And we wiped them all out. Think of all the secrets lost.

This, along with Nothing In Between, is one of the most mesmerizing songs to see The Davis play live. His guitar work on both songs is incredible. No one else can match him in terms of songwriting and performance.
In some parallel dimension, I'm convinced that Stuart Davis is the biggest rock star in the world.
