I love this game, and Geno is my favorite character too. Not only is Geno even more powerful than Bowser, but he's also one of the fastest characters and has the most powerful attack magic.. He can even increase a party member's attack power during battle. Geno's that kind of character that I wish could be in every RPG. I also wish that Geno was in Super Smash Bros. Oh, well, maybe someday we'll see him in a SSB game.

@cyberhoodlum I would love to see some returning characters like Mellow and Geno make a comeback but Square owns the characters and Nintendo has to buy the rights again to use em.

The SNES had many great titles such as Chrono Trigger, Zelda, Contra, Mario World, but Mario's RPG stands out the most because it was a funny game! Really great RPG, the only one I really loved.

I think it's Culex... the dude with the 4 crystals around it. I was never into Final Fantasy but I just beat it on SNES last night and I do recall it being Culex.

Man, I have such fond memories of this game. It's still fun to play even now. Not to mention this game had a lot of memorable characters who were sadly never seen on any future Mario games. (Geno, Mallow, Booster) Square and Nintendo really did a wonderful job crafting a great RPG with that trademark Mario style.

Yeah, sadly since Square actually created the characters Geno, Mallow, and Booster Nintendo couldn't used them in future titles like the Paper Mario for example.

i just downloaded this one yesterday because i have heard about what a classic it is. i had no idea that it was a collaboration prodject between square soft and nintendo. i can't wait to get a chance to try this one out
