  • love it!!5*****

  • Great. I saw them live in Helsinki, 1994. Are they still together?

  • Well, they are not so active. But they are going to have a gig in Oulu at PoroFeria (7-8th February 2009).

  • Cool. Enjoy the gig. Following the Helsinki gig I got them to sign a cassette for me then I went up to Inari and bought a drum.

  • I wanted to buy a drum as well, but at the end i decided to buy a Hungarian drum (when i get back home) because those Saami drums were so expensive which had a nice sound...And anyway I should support my nation's drum production!:D

I've seen you're quite happy with your drum! In which shop did you buy it by the way?

Angelit's performace with the Flamenco dancers was quite nice at the weekend! But I prefer other Saami artist in general!

  • I bought it privatly. There was a goldsmith shop in Inari which had a drum in the window with badges pinned into it!!! I couldn't believe he'd killed a drum! Anyway, I asked where he'd got it and after a lot of stalling he said he'd contact the maker and see if he had any to sell. I'v used the drum in theatre performances but the problem is it reacts a lot to heat and is often loose. The one in my own vidos is actually a Celtic Bodhran I had made for me in England.

  • Sooo exotic !

  • thank you so much for posting !!!
