i was wondering if the type of trestle ( metal ones) can be made in curves o-72 cause in on of my corner i will have 5 tracks goinmg under but neve saw curve bridge i can use etc.. do you have any idiea, i need about 4 feet to 5 feet so i be able to put tracks that goes under .
I was wondering if you ever had any trouble putting you track together and having gaps in the track because I am and its not looking or running good any advise is appreciated.
@austrobb It's inevitable on a large layout that you're going to have a few gaps in the rails. I fill these these gaps in with solder, thereby welding the rails together. It all really depends on what brand of track you're using.
@LycoValleyRRFan Yeah, they're super expensive. But they are nice. The reason they are so expensive is the same reason figurines for the layout are so expensive: They are hand made and require a lot of time to create. Time is money, so they cost a bundle.
Hey eric, would the ballast come on to the removable section of scenery or stay just off of it? If it does go onto it, how would you remove that section if it has ballast on it? thanks for the upload.
I like your trackwork, but curious if you had considered weathering the rails? The center rail instead of that black color will tend to merge into the scene being the same color as the outside rails.
I am envious of your passion and dedication to excellence in your modeling. You are setting benchmarks for many modelers to aspire to. High kudos from me.
Hi Eric, great job on the layout - it's really coming together nicely! Will you be doing a review of the new Lionel Milwaukee Road S-3 4-8-4? Looks like it's got some pretty nice features. Thanks again for all the great postings. Have a great holiday season!
Lay out is looking good, as always. I have a suggestion. Where you are putting the access panel, how about a tunnel with a road crossing. It might look pretty good with crossing gate and stone retaining walls. It would also afford a nice little area to take some videos of the train running by. Have yourself and family a very Merry Christmas.
I love German lcomotives. I have a Marklin Railion (Pronounced Rail-e-in) Class 151 and F-140 myself and they run great, look great, and are pretty strong. You're going to enjoy your TRAXX F-140 AC-1. They're Great!
I see that Railion Series BR 185 every day on my commute to university. It's a german engine, or at least Railion is a german company, formerly Deutsche Bahn Schenker. I believed it's pronounced english-ly.
Your videos, train reviews, and how to do its are the GREATEST,keep them coming.
