Don`t quit poser 7, most p7 py plugins doesn`t work in p8, alot of great features are still avaiable for p7, just think twice before upgrade.I`m dead without my P7 plugins.
I am sorry, alot of P7 plugins works in PP. I also noticed that my processor is colder at rendering, I have 45-46 Celsius at P7 and 40-41.5 Celsius in PP with the same scene, same settings. For sure PP in rendering is better than P7 and for sure, from now on I will stay at PP.
I have used Poser 4, 5, 6 and now 7. Problem with all of them is that they are simply not viable animation platforms. The rendering engine, interface and extreme slowness in both preview and rendered mode are pathetic. Poser is fine for still scenes, but for animation...forget it. It would take you months to make a decent simple scene and as we see, ludicrously long rendering times.
All animation software takes time to do, you think those people that do it with studio max, softimage, etc render in less time? It takes a longer time than months to do a full render.
the fliker in the mapping is cause by your mikey mouse graphic card that does not support the script for than it has trouble sending it and interpreting it, to start it can not be a a graphic card that contanins no less than 1Gig of memory and i dont mean your ram memory but your graphic memory than it has to have multy threat suport and more over Hdri support if not this why this happens. all movie studios contain harware suted for this technology thats why they do what they do whith graphics.
I think you all are retarded. If you dont really understant the world of CG animation dont try doing stupid tests or comments. I been using all this tools for production pipelines and it never goes like this, study a bit on not using mikey mouse computer and harware is not only in the system OS but was inside that computer, do you even know if your graphic card is able to read and interpret such complex 3d language,I think you should first study on all the real tool you really need to make CGArt
poser 7 is crap, i was in a help menu, the next time i tried to fire it up it diddn't come on. I exited the program went back in and it was still not there. WHY IS THIS PROGRAM SO SHIT AND RETARDED???

I dident see too much of a different in the detail of the renders
but i cant believe how much longer poser takes to render...

poser pro is a side grade not a new version... and most certainly not poser 8.
And almost all python scripts work in poser pro just like poser 7.

So...how do you make boobies bigger using magnets, or whatever in Poser 7?
I managed to use some magnets, but the boobies looked weird and I had to go back and fill in some "pot holes".
Poser 7 is great for me since I mostly use it for posing/still life work. I can't ever imagine animating with those figures. x_x
