I don't think Dr Paul would be able to have Ventura as a running-mate because Jesse Ventura is an avowed atheist. This is a point of immaturity in Ventura, that would make him unelectable for any national office in America. If Ventura had kept his atheism to himself and not proclaimed it loud and clear to the whole world it might not matter but he did and it does. Alex - I would think that you would make an effort with Ventura to "grow him up" about God and about Jesus. Who else will?

He would be perfect as a congressman, a governor, or really anything that would give him the ability to add his voice to the Libertarian movement... but he's too quick-tempered and not tactful enough to be president. Choosing Rand might not go over well with the people, given that he is his son. I like the idea of Lew Rockwell though ... I hadn't thought of that one. I don't know much about him other than that he is the chairman of Mises. But Mises is great.

Still, the choices are limited. I have some issues with Johnson as well.
