You're drifting too much. On 64 there's absolutely no reason to drift whatsoever. It's completely useless. Double Dash on the other hand...

@Quez256 Yes, but it took too long to get it and I'd end up drifting right off the road any time I tried. Double Dash perfected it and then I could drift/mini-turbo my way all the way around a course if I wanted to. Then Mario Kart Wii made it slightly unbalanced again (more due to the weight class system causing anyone but the heavy class to be sent flying by the slightest bump from anyone else than the drifting mechanics) so I had trouble again.

Actually, that is me playing, but I don't really care for the comments about my performance. I only did a few warm up races before recording the video, and I wanted it just long enough for the music to loop twice and fade out before I finished the race. (which the jump helped out nicely :D) Before that its been years since I played the game. Ah well.

well, there's one problem with his request which is that most of the instruments would require for me to add new sound samples, which would technically make it not Mario Paint. With my orchestra set though some of those instruments are made, but not all. So, I hope that the soundset I'm working on would be useful for you, WiisoGilgamesh.
