saw a lot of comments regarding peter not standing out compared to other dances. I think uniqueness should be appreciated. he dances with a certain elegance that people that "stand out" dont. every style is unique. acrobatics and flying around the place is not the only style to be appreciated.
AWESOME!!! I'm going to be watching this video alot cause I need to work on my styling. Especially "finger eggs" and hand movements. Thanks for the video!! :)
We both knew the song, it's quite well known, but we did not have a choreography, and we did not rehearse. We came to the location in the morning, and this was our warm-up dance. Why do you think it's not improvised?
Awwww he/she's a hater. That was awesome! And I can tell it wasn't choreography because I find when people do choreography there's less focus on each because they know what's coming next. Edie was very focused on you and that's what made it look so effortless.
Yes it is improvised. You can see it in some of the moves. Trained dancers who know what they are doing can easily people. Salsa isn't at all hard to improvise.
he obviously leads well and does good job of interpreting music. however, he still looks a bit mechanical. that only comes when u really feel the music and not just having understanding of a song structure. his dancing does not stand out for me. hes good lead though. edie's partner al espinoza stands out when he dances. great presence about him very few have. edie you rock!
@maurycymarkowski We tried once, but nobody got it :) Joke aside, we did two takes of the song, one with the total from far away and one with a half close-up with the upper bodies showing. As both takes were improvised, we could only change between the two views when we were roughly doing the same thing in both views. The point you spotted was more 'rough' than the rest of the cuts... If we would have a coreography, we could have done the cuts without 'teleporting'.

when your freestyle dance is mistaken with a choregraphed routine, I think you should take is a compliment
