The really sad part of being gay is that nearly all gays have straight parents that really don't understand what being gay is really like or what it means. I believe God has a plan for every person born and it is instilled in the child's genes at conception. God doesn't make mistakes. Men make mistakes. God loves diversity as witnessed by the different colors of our skin and eyes and hair. God loves gays just as he loves straight.
I have a question concerning my younger brother (17). I am a girl from Tennessee.I`m 18, have 2 older brothers (20&22), an older half sister older (24) and an older half brother (26). We live in a normal family.We go to college, have fun do sports and are usually (I know, it sounds arrogant) liked.But my little brother is different. He gets bullied, cause he`s gay. It took him a long time to tell us. He even became suicidal! And even though we accept him,it is hard.
@tineeeable Hi! You want him to live and be joyful, God bless you. Tell him to go to It Gets Better on google, and go to that website. Also, he can watch it gets better videos on youtube. He needs a support person in your family (you), and someone outside the family that you implicitly trust to deal with bigotry. I helped a young gay teen while I was around him, and I'm gay, and a Christian, so he identified with me. Try and find a group he can be a part of and he will be liked. :)
@tineeeable you can help him by making it known that you love him and do not judge him. If he is surrounded by love he will know he has support. If he needs someone who came out gay at a young age and doing well feel free to message me.
Shanes' advice was quite appropriate, keep giving your little brother that love and support he's always been able to count on! And should you at any given time be in a position to do so, keep an extra eye or ear out for the "Goings On" in his daily life! Even if you are unavailable to witness what's being perpetrated, you can alert person in authority who will have to take action! Your little brother who so needs you is in fact lucky that he has you!

She cares and loves for her son. That's a first! It was Bobby's life choice whether to jump or not. Bobby performed suicide, so he dies. You can't blame the poor mom!!

Because, had I been able to articulate this to Bobby, when we were kids,
he could very well still be with us! I understand that to many of you, this
tragic tale is fairly new, but the events it depicts happened over 27yrs ago!

Thank you for uploading this video! I am truly moved by the various way people have
emoted, having been moved by Bobby and Marys' story. Though he's been gone for
over 27yrs, I find myself reflecting back on him much of late! I pray that young people
who see this movie, might be moved by the themes of transcendence, redemption
and ultimately forgiveness! I have yet to watch it myself and am working up the courage to do so.
