@EvangelineDeer Depends on the design. Minerva is a mask that is full coverage (back and front) and latches into place with luggage clasps that were attached with epoxy.

They're made out of a fiberglass resin, and they are very difficult to make.

Cliff-Notes: Sculpted from clay, negative mold created, fiber glass cast, sanded, painted, wig designed, and bodysuit. :) Voila!

I find these kinds of costumes the most comfortable. The fabric is light, stretchy, and breathes incredibly well.

Fursuits with their full bodies of fur, get very very hot and as a result, can get very sweaty. I still love them though.

Rabbit...I must say this video was very humerous but please dont take this the wrong way because I enjoyed it. Especially when " Minerva" walked into the salon for the ladies in there. Look Im not a furroe but I do enjoy animation and drawings especially some furrie ones but I dont get into the pornographic ones as some try to do. Looks like you're having problems with the hairpieces. How are they secured? A "creature" friend, (he works at a theme park.) said they used velcro on a skull cap to keep things in place.

Yeah, velcro is used for the base, but bobbypins are used to help keep the bangs somewhat under control.

They're a bit complicated, and start off as a clay sculpt. From there, they're cast from fiberglass. If you search for "kigurumi head tutorial" on google, you should dig up a little info on how to go about making them.

The salon was awesome, know what would of made it better? Having a seat in the stylist chair, have a cape tossed on you while they fixed your hair for you. I would give you a 5 star rating if that was the case, so I give you 3 for a good effort.

I hear ya, might make special arrangements with the salon ahead of time, I don't think they would mind. If you do it, make sure they use a vinyl shampoo cape or a really shinny chemical/all purpose cape on you. That would look the best on you if I do say so myself. You should do it, seriously!
