This guy thinks so high of himself "This guy can't beat Sagat with that shit" as I said that guy at least went with pro combos not stupid cornering gayness that's why I stay away from Live/psn matches 80% of players use that stupid pro "cornering" style yet when you turn the table and play like that they call you "fucking cheap noob"...

If you want to play StreetFighter properly, you get an arcade stick. This is a fact.

Is it an advantage? Yeah, probably, but Street Fighter was not designed for the pad, end of story.

@Gelgo0g You cannot react and tech counter a throw: you have to ANTICIPATE it is coming by getting into the player's mind. There are OBVIOUS situations where people will throw you: all the good players who have basic skillz tech counter THESE types of throws. The throws that come outta nowhere -- the BEST have the reaction speed to tech out of it.

By "you" I could've meant just you (in general, the average player: most of the time we can't react fast enuff to tech-counter a throw, especially if their opponent kara throws -- but its not about reacting fast enuff, its about anticipating. Its ez to anticipate the obvious throw situations.). There's no contradiction.

Anyway, what can I say.. I only now got into watching Phil's videos. I got tired of watching boring matches without player commentary, haha. ^_^

I actually used to learn from watching phil play LOL, now i just watch his videos for the commentry a you do. If I want to see some good matches il watch GeOm modinside. He plays his guile as you would with charlie in alpha, very aggressive :)

His Gen wasn't THAT bad...two rounds (or even 1 match, for that matter...or 10) is not enough to gauge the skill of a player.

He had some interesting combos I had not seen in action before.
