Harajuku is a district in Japan, it's not a fashion. It just so happens that people who dress "alternatively" like to go there because of the shops and it's a nice place to meet ^_^ Don't forget, this is only a small part of Japan, and hell yes that place is home to some awesome fashions, but it's not like Harajuku everywhere! Not all of Japan is like this. Not all Japanese are open and willing to give you a hug. Heck, some Japanese HATE foreigners. Even more of a heck, some Japanese do not like or care for Half Japanese, or even Japanese born out of Japan.
