i generally dont watch tv, and i judge my opinion mostly on the people i know from america, my aunt who has lived there 11 years, the support or lack of it for political decisions, the americans i speak to online, youtube comments alot of things. also, dont forget that almost every aspect of american life is beamed into TV all over the world, so i wouldnt be so quick to dismiss it cos theres alot you can gather from it.

i know the majority of you guys can see that FOX and msnbc are pretty biased, but the fact remains that there are pretty significant amounts of people who cant, its the same here with say, BBC reporting on scottish independance or the USA, but BBC isnt as bias as FOX, or msnbc, which both seem to promote fairly extreme views. the religious right wing, for example, has quite an influence on US politics i understand, you wont find that kind of thing in europe.

Socialism is government intervention in the economic sector which has been proven time and time again to retard economic competitiveness and growth. Yes government run, that's what I fucking said. Its a flawed system based on promise and false hopes. China is only successful because they had nothing to begin with.
