I use Krylon spray paint, but when i spray it on its really liquidy? i spray it on glossy bristol board? is that good? how do i make it not so liquidy so that it doesnt blend together when i put the magazine paper on it.

A cool texture for planets is by substituting the magazine paper with ordinary loose leaf, whereas you lightly crinkle up the paper and it gives a cool, canyon effect.

@sprayart94 ok so i put down pink green and black for my planet (those were my only colors i had) and then i put the magizine on it and lighty rubbed it like you did but when i took it off it just look smuged and not cool looking

@piecookiepie Theres a few things you can try, first off you might be using too much paint, try using a lot less - barely enough to cover the white/previous colour, second what kind of paint are you using? The cheaper thinner paints tend to run and blend more. Need any more advice just message me :)

@Bigredo56 No, it cracks if you use the wrong paper - photo paper will crack.

Its a good idea to give a coat of clear afterwards but primer isnt needed unless you're painting on metal

@MrLittleman63 Yep, you should use gloss paint for spray paint art anyway so just a few coats of white, let it dry overnight and works fine.
