I remember a root cellar in Colorado,, one could have set up housekeeping in it it was that big.. I wish I could build one in my lots next to us.. Our ancestors were smart and innovative!

I went to his channel but couldn't find a "informative" video of HIS root cellar. 1) This is the oldest root cellar I have seen in such great condition. 2) I haven't seen a vestibule in a root cellar in years. 3)The construction technique of the entrance is hardly seen anymore,(which is too bad since it works very well for temp control and storm protection. 4)Shows you don't have to dig to China for a root cellar. Dumb? I think not!!
