Caiman is not that dangerous. Tigers and anakondas like to eat them. Remeber Caiman is much smaller than a crocodile, but of course you shouldent go swiming with them if you dont want to get hurt. But there is many animals that can kill it there, like tigers big snakes and jaguars.

Not really. Caiman is much smaller than a crocodile and you can buy them as a pet in may zoo shops. Many animals can defeat them and they are not so high in the food chain.

not really? man you really know your stuff..... yes SOME crocs get bigger then most caimans but the amazon is also home to the worlds largets alligatoridae the black caiman which in know to get 16 feet in length. any croc, alligator or caiman can give you serious damage starting at 2 feet (sometimes even less) so i want you to tell me how a 10+ monster is not "high in the food chain" and "not that dangerous"?

Actuallt Caiman is a pretty small animal. The males can become around 2- 2.5 meters and female around 1.4 meters.

Its right that the black caiman is bigger but it can get eaten by anacondas and jaguars and pumas. Important to remember is that the black caiman is actually with the aligator family and is not as the other small caiman that can be places as pets.

But if you think they are the biggest crocodile you are mistaken.
