  • Cool video! Pretty fast dance but everyone more or less seems to know what they are doing. Great music too with nice mandolin & fiddle playing! As to the comment about skirts versus kilts -- I must say I do not know for sure but I've never seen a purple, chiffon, ankle length kilt before! LOL Not that I care - - just saying.

  • Music For a Found Harmonium (starts at 2:11) is one of the _most_ fun tunes to dance to - it builds and builds - if only more contra bands would play it! (Sigh!)

  • I do like the silliness of the editing of this clip--it so duplicates the laid-back attitude of most dances I've gone to over the years. Having Merri Rudd as your caller that night was indeed another blessing!

  • First time I've heard "music for a found harmonium" in a contra set. Great work.
