  • A very big difference. I like to hear it 6 months to a year down the road. To see how it opened up, because its a new guitar now. It is a shame to see, a 1969 d 28 in such bad shape. One good thing it is a brand new guitar now. The bad thing is all that great aging sound waisted, because of abuse.

  • What a fantastic set up work.It sounds superbly!

  • Mike

  • Hey Dan.

It's mike, Sandy's husband. Was just fiddling around on youtube and thought I'd punch in your name and low and behold, there you are doing what you do best.

It's amazing what you can do to a guitar my friend. Your name comes up a lot when I talk to fellow musicians.

    You are the master.

  • this guitar sound great......what kinda strings?

  • Elixir phosphor bronze nanoweb medium.

They are the best string I.M.H.O.

  • WOW! Amazing sounding box and very impressive difference after the setup. Those old d-28's are hard to beat when they're setup right.
