@Gromeul I was down to the GuitarCenter today and played the 61 Reissue without the Tremo and

plays and sounds real nice. Looks like I will buy it next week. I can get extra 15% off the $1999 they

have the price at. The list is alot higher. They treat me well with all the gear Ive bought from them.

Thats one thing if you buy local at the same place they take care of you :)

@alphasxsignal - Oh yes, that's what I do but In France, at my local dealer (who is a friend) except for some guitars he can't have (just like my 335 Lee Ritenour).

@alphasxsignal I was looking at a 94 GIBSON SG SPC ELEC GTR EBONY WC but the pickups are diffrent

then your reissue. They seem to have two pickups up front and near the bridge and are black with no chrome

covers.

I bought it on eBay, I also have the tune-o-matic bridge but I prefer the vibrola!

So that's a regular 61 reissue with a maestro vibrola that you installed right?

I bought this guitar recently and i was thinking of doing the same with mine, but i was told that the neck is likely to break due to the vibrola's tension variation and mostly because the 61 has a thinner neck and the joint is at the 22nd fret to give you access to the entire fretboard.

I just wanna know if you had any kind of issue with it.

It's almost the original solo, it's inspired from! Angus Young is a good influence for R'n'R lead, he often mixes minor & Major pentatonics.
