  • always think of this song when its 10:54 as to me it sounds like

'wheezinansneezinan balls into a park, by 10:54 where gashion

    girls play' but i'm[sure its]not.

  • @posypity Its so funny when we all interpret how we think the words

of a CTs song are, another great gift by Liz she likes us to put our

own ideas and thoughts from her songs, I aint a clue to most of the words

to their songs, but have fun singing along lol :)

  • smoked a lot of weed to this tune!!!!

  • @Mr69906990 Lol some say looking at my videos I do to :)

  • Head Over Heels was one of the first records I ever bought; it is such a unique album. The production is like nothing else I'd heard, before or since. I am never usually a vinyl snob but I have to say that vinyl is the only way to listen to this album!

  • @rachfatcat Hi there, I agree its a classic album thats stood the

test of time in everyway, with amazing production for sure, Im a vinyl

fan to, just love the depth of sound to vinyl, CDs tend to be duller and

more flat in quality even though they have really clear sound quality.

Great tro hear from you my friend :-))

  • One of my favorite CT songs. I, too, bought the LP back in the '87...as an import at Tower Records in Hollywood. The artwork on the sleeve was the coolest part of the album...the smell...the thick plastic folder all imports came in...the sound when the needle hit the record...still have the LP...it's only been played a few times for recording onto cassette tape. I feel like a dinosaur.

  • @akemisue Hi there, just love this track, always gives the chills

and goosebumps, classic track and album, just like you all my vinyls

were played and recorded onto cassette to save wearing them, were not

dinosaurs lol :-)) glad your a fan of this amazing song also, agreed the sleeve

    artwork was iconic :)

  • hey shum, is this where you got your 65 from?

    i mean 5plus10plus50equals65

  • @posypity Haha I never noticed that to be honest, I actually

got my name from the band called Sham69 good guess though :)

  • i love this song.it's perfect

  • @nicotop84 Hi there, me to my friend, its a classic :))

  • AWSOME

  • @hidalgo699 Hi there, I love this track to my friend, both the

music and vocals soar into heaven itself :)

  • Is this the original music video for this song?

  • @hegadem Hi there, I wish my friend, no its a video I put together,

but Im honoured you thought it could an original video, loved filming

it all, its such an incredible song, one of my faves from the H.O.H album.

Good to hear from you hegadem..!! :)

  • @hegadem Hey thats great that you bought the 1983 vinyl of their H O H album,

Ive still got mine to from back in the day, well done you for getting it and in good

condition, I love its cover to, it is filled with truly beautiful and heavenly music.

Thats the best compliment you can give me my friend saying hearing my uploads

makes you want to buy their records, my work is complete ;-))) Xx

  • This music takes me to a far away land....Elizabeth Fraser's voice is of another world.

  • @CocteauTwinsMusic Hi there, your so right my friend, this is music from

another dimension and time, dreams-ville almost, good to hear from you :)

  • @shum65 Thanks for posting this beauty of wonders!

  • @CocteauTwinsMusic Your very welcome my friend, I love this

track and cant stop playing at the moment, so haunting... Xx ;-))

  • I remembered - excuse me I plead alcoholic gibberish.

  • @person3enpassant Lol ur lucky, I speak gibberish all the time :)))

Got me Halloween mask on in this vid,be scared,be very scared :D

  • I used to have this on vinyl y'see Dave. God knows what happened to it. I mean the album. So I remediable the songs rather dearly.

  • Love this song - I saw them at the Brighton Dome in 1984, at the time it was one of the most boring concerts I'd been to, they stood miles back on the stage and didn't move. Sadly at the time I was no fan of Treasure I just loved the earlier stuff like this track and the first LP. Then a year or so later Treasure clicked in my brain and I badly wanted a replay of the gig!

  • @Durriti66 Haha and Liz was an really good dancer but rarely danced in concert,

But I know what you mean about once Treasure clicked you wanted to re-live that

gig again, good days my friend!!!! great to hear from you ;D

  • I stand by what I say now as then Elizabeth Frazer is the hottest most alluring woman in music, she sjows no leg not one bit os skin but still manages to work me up. Apart from singing in esperanto a dialect of spanish, I once asked my girl if she minded that I listen to this whilst I was with her? she replied no I don't mind but then I don't think she got the sexual fantasy thing no what I mean sa matter of fact I am sure she did not get the idea at all so I don't listen to them with her

  • @63AIONSON Loving what your saying my friend :) I so agree about

Liz, she has a siren like quality that attracts and draws you in, both with

her aura and especially her voice, sorry your girlfriend didnt get it lol

I think you either get the Cocteau's or you dont, theirs no middle ground.

Hey great comments 63AIONSON, good to hear from you !! ;))

  • @iloveslowdive1 Classic aint it....musically and vocally amazing...!!!

  • First time I've heard anything by them when I was looking for ethereal music, I have a feeling I'll be downloading in a bit.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 Hi there, awesome track, happy downloading m8.....!!!

  • i like these guys and vid but sorry guys i had to be the first dislike so no troll could claim this vids dislike virginity,,, lol

  • @Lord0Scorn Oh no, I,ve lost my dislike virginity Ha-ha.., glad you enjoyed m8... :))

  • Creative perfection....

  • @markkinrade Many thanks dear friend, its another classic track....!!!

  • love the dark atmosphere, the bass line , the voice of the singer ..... the atmosphere in their songs , their first records was dark ....... and beatiful...

  • @johannesjuanes Your again so right my friend, this track just gives me pure goosebumps.

both musically and vocally outstanding.....!!!! :-))

  • Wow, this is the very first song I knew of them. As beautiful as always, that was 1985-86, I was in high school. I listened a lot The Cure and the early Depeche Mode works. It's like a piece of time-space frozen. It's a shame I didn't saw this video before, Shum, thanks for posting!

  • @solnegrolunaroja Hi There, I,m so pleased this amazing song has

brought back many happy memories for you my friend, me too.....!!

The Cure and Depeche Mode are fantastic too, great taste indeed...

  • I feel like sneezing....and weezing.

  • @JayRose1000 Ha-ha, hope your not getting a cold my friend...!!

Love this song and album too, Garlands is a mighty album, its

got such fantastic atmospheric tracks, I love it so much also.

You have great taste my friend...

  • Another great track.

Get a drummer on there instead of that daft, out of time biscuit tin.

    Stupid drum machines.

  • @TroyaE117 Ha-ha, they used a drum machine for many years

before using a professional drummer, I love all their hard hitting

drum beats, they give a cold edge to their earlier songs...

Fair comments though mate, you either love or hate drum machines

Its a brilliant track your right, Lizs soaring vocals, those guitars....

    Great hearing from ya TroyaE117.......!!!

  • q belleza de cancion de los coctau twins

  • @alejandrocopex Hi Their, its great to hear from you my friend,

I hope you enjoyed this amazing song, what an awesome band

the Cocteau Twins are, best wishes to you alejandrocopex...!!!!

  • A great early Cocteau's song with some excellent video work by Schum

  • Hi barry, its a great track this one I love it...

Liz's vocals soar along with the music...

I really enjoyed doing the video to this one

Notice me in my Halloween mask??

Much appreciate your great comments on

    my video...your very kind mate.....!!!!

  • The whole production on this song (and that goes for the whole "Head Over Heels album I think) is absolutely brilliant. I must admit that I've never been keen on bands using a saxophone.(it's the Antichrist of good soundscapes...yes, I am an uptight fascist twit when it comes to the sax and productions..so sue me ;-) )...but in this case surrender..unconditionally. It fits right in. It's used with such economy. It's flawless. Got 2 copies of the Lp on vinyl. One never played. HAH!! :-D

  • Haha, thats me getting carried away again wearing my Halloween mask....!! I totally agree mate, the Production of the whole album is awesome, and still gives me goosebumps.....HOH,was the first LP I bought of theirs in 83..wow..was it good. and WOW its still outstanding...!!! And that iconic cover....!!! Good for you mate buying 2 copies..... Now thats dedication my friend.....!!! Cheers Sandboge....
  • together with Treasure of course ...

  • Ah.."Treasure" is just that,a treasure.....!!!

    Such a classy classic album...

Cheers dustin, good talking 2 ya my friend

  • I,m so pleased to hear someones joy at the -

    Magic that is the Cocteau's!!

Haunting! and chill in my bones! is so right!

    Lovely comments FuzzDrone!!

  • Oh, one other thought.... This song could come to represent my and many other Americans' mounting debt, growing 5, 10, 50X, while the wealthiest 5% or so of the Population controls 90+ percent of the wealth (and holds all the power). Also, our wheezing and sneezing may progress to pneumonia, but for those of us without health insurance, and who can't afford to see a Doctor or pay for prescriptions, we're screwed! God, I hope Mr. Obama wins, and at the very least starts to change things!

  • He will, the Boy Kings daddy and cronies can't possibly steal a third election, not without starting an other revolution anyway

  • I tend to play this song when I have a cold, obviously for the wheezing/sneezing refrain, taken at least on a superficial level. Another good song, for those suffering from a headcold, is Nina Hagen's "Hatschi Waldera" - it's hysterical even if you don't understand German, and laughing makes one feel better. Nina sneezes and sniffles through the whole thing, and a video clip from the mid-70's of her singing it while sick in bid is a hoot. For those interested, it's in my Top Faves.

  • I think the best remedy for a cold or flue,is

without doubt you bobby!! you always cheers me

up my friend! and most certainly make me feel

so much happier!! Always great fun reading-

    your fab comments!!!

I,ll be checking Nina out in your faves bobby!

    Thanks again for that!!

  • Such a nice job, shum. What's behind the draperies, then? Scary monsters? The National Front? Jehovah's Witnesses, or a vacuum cleaner Salesperson coming up the walk? Or maybe the only Elizabeth Fraser herself (that would be so cool!). I'd just hope she'd show up on a day when I've recently dusted the place, and thoroughly cleaned the bathroom! It never works that way with surprise Guests, however, in my experience...

  • I know what you mean bobby!! I,m usually half-

way through doing the hoovering, when the door

bell rings, and its cushions and papers up in-

the air,as I,m charging around the place in the vein hope of tidying up,before opening the

    front door!!

PS-Its never Elizabeth behind the drapes alack

    and alas!!

  • muy bueno shum

  • Your very welcome KIKILOGIC!!!

  • Thanks dear friend!! your so right!

its such an incredibly magical track!!

I just love it so much!!

    Cheers for that martinekkes!!!

  • I've always loved this one.

  • Thanks mate,me too!!
