  • i would have paid 40 a ton for that car. the yard i take cars to pays 190 a ton right now for cars. lowest ive seen them pay was 140 and highest was 240

  • Why don't you guys strip the cars down for parts before you scrap them? Just scrap the shell.... I'm sure it would be easier to sort at the recycling company and you could also sell the salvaged parts for $.

  • @wreckleskelly darn man yall scrap yard are cheap. around here in the states, im in sc we get $120 per ton. or around $12 per hundred pounds.

  • MAN.. I PAID BIG BUCKS FOR THE FRONT TORTION FRONT SUSPENTION k member.. mine was rusted out and new ones are impossable restorers would of paid biggg bucks for that car.. what a wasteee

  • needed an inspection, the bottom was thrashed from it being baja'd (offroaded) it was bagged out,

    it looked ok in the vid but didn't have a strait body panel on it, and they are all over the place.

    i did keep the egine and trany for later use.

    this old pos once hit about 135mph!

  • @wreckleskelly i just cant understand. even if everything was bent, its still a better and cheaper sheet metal replacement then do it all by yourself. the glas was also ok. even if it would have taken longer, i bet you by parting and selling it, you would have earned more than 30 bucks a ton
