This is not the jaguar with the shorter tail. This is a video of the male jaguar which I recorded in 2008. The female jaguar with the short tail came to the Philadelphia Zoo in 2010. The jaguars take turns in the exhibit areas, so she is the one who must have been on exhibit on the day you visited.

Hey how come the jaguar now has lost her tail? I saw it gone when I was at the zoo for a field trip.
