Just before this video was shot the heavens opened and a French family stayed put in the tunnel for 20 minutes until it stopped jamming everyone behind them. A bit like Henry the Green Engine who refused to come out of a tunnel when it was raining so they bricked him in.
Pity messrs Marples, Beeching and all their cronies didn't think about this idea in the UK when they tore up our lovely railways in the 60s.... could you imagine the journey over the magnificent Belah viaduct in the North of England or the equally impressive Crumlin viaduct in Wales. Both torn down out of spite by BR and the government of the day!
i did this on holiday in augast.. fucking amazing experiance, not the same one as the video.. just going over bridges and things through some outstanding beautiful scenery and the peace of it all.. relaxing :)
It's about 20K from Milau where the bridge that sails thru the clouds which in turn is about 2 hrs east of Toulouse. There are around 20 similar sites around France but not many have 3 tunnels and a viaduct in the space of 7K. You really want and get the whole line to yourself so you're not held up by slow freight. There's also an adventure forest the other side of Milau where you can ride a 100M zip wire over a 70M deep ravine

Need a better vehicle - these are far too heavy and the rail wheels too small in diameter - so too much roll resistance...
