what is amazing about kidd is, he has no athleticism, even when he was younger, he was one of the slower guards in the nba, and yet he still dominated just by simply being the best basketball player on the court

Kidd is 1 of the all time greats, I don't care what anyone says. Its sad that he never won the big one though, he has 2 opportunities to do it in 03 & 04, but unfortunately came up short in both NBA Finals for those years

Jason Kidd is the best point guard to play the game since John Stockton. IMO, only Stockton and Magic were better. What sets Kidd apart from guys like Nash is, he plays defense, good defense. Nash is def top 10 pg all time. But Kidd is top 5. And for those who think he can't score, watch his old days in Dallas, Phoenix, and New Jersey. You guys obviously haven't watched basketball for a while.

@bananbooy yea and he would've had it already if it wasn't for those damn spurs in 2003! We had the Spurs easily in that series! As a Nets fan that was one of the most heartbreaking series ever. Don't worry Kidd, hopefully you can get a ring somewhere else before your career is done.

Kidd needs to take advantage of scoring opportunities or he will never win a championship. Sometimes I feel he plays for assists numbers too much which hurts his team cuz they don't have to guard Kidd. That's why steve Nash is better than him and of course the two best point guards r Chris Paul and D-Will

Youre way off. Nash, when he retires, wont even be considered in the top 10 best pgs ever. Kidd is a guranteed top 3, especially considering the records he has broken of magics lately. Oh and for the record, Kidd is the best 3 pt shooter on the mavs team right now. He shoots a higher percent than Dirk does, averaged 61 percent. Do your homework when it comes to the Maestro.

He's not. He had one (two is a stretch) good year(s). He played well because the other 4 guys on the court could catch and finish a lob from a monkey. He played like shit in Dallas, and he's played like shit the last 2 seasons. His numbers are down, his moral is down, and he couldn't get his team into the playoffs. He's not making the top 10, no way.

jason kidd is one of those guards that doesn't really have to score to make an impact in a game... he gets his team mates involved... he may not be in his prime but he's still a good guard... he can drop really good dimes and is more of a pass first shoot later guard... if he's not shooting the ball well he just passes it... and assists the other players on his team... he's a point guards point guard...
