Queens Surface 275 was actually given to Green Lines as 1149 in 2000 and
Jamaica Buses 3865 was given to them by Queens Surface in 2000. Queens Surface gave 1993 TMC's to Jamaica Buses because they had Grummans and to Green Lines because they had RTS 03's. Queens Surface needed room to make way for the new Orion V CNG's.
OMG...Yall was here for the ROADEO8, i have a camcorder i did in that one...were you standing at skinny dude or fat dude dudes...cuz i got a couple of yall people all up in my viewfinder!!!!! AND if you aint know yet, they was more GMCs plus TMC transits touring Roadeo8 as well!!!!
You talking bout the one in Astoria or CP??....in 1986 i could remember only 1 Astoria depot....those days QSC made all GMC RTS-04s run, no complianing!...there was some Flixible Metro buses for sure dude, it was way better back then on Queens Blvd!!!
Ahh! 621 I remember going into Manhattan before the barricade's and we only had tiny orange pylon's every 10 feet between us and on coming traffic! That 8 cylinder would fly GMC should get back into bus building and build these for us again. Power steering and an air ride seat would be nice though! Thanks for the photo's I had to work that weekend and could not make it to the field. 621 and it's counter parts were more commonly known as Canadians in the depot back in the day.
That explains alot but the MTA bus shouldve been smart to say let's save a TMC RTS 06 from each companies repaint it and not scrap it. Instead the retards didnt think of that
I'm so fucking confused this dosen't look like Belmont park its near water why didnt you take pics of the sign with the information aboot the buses I use to see 621 alot before MTA BUS came. Why do the JB and QS TMC RTS04/06 look like they were repainted from the MTA bus scheme
It's Floyd Bennett Field in southeastern Brooklyn. Didnt have enough space for all the signs, and those TMC RTS-06s were repainted to their bus companies' colors because now they're museum buses.
