  • They need to start playing dub on the radio stations on da real!

  • whats the tune? anyone?

  • The video is of Prince Jammy - this is a very lame attempt

  • WTF, Facebook didn't allow me to share this video on my wall, because its "offensive"...

  • @rootsradics fan: the studio Harry J did not belong to Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby had a sound system in Ocho Rios (or was it M'Bay?). Jarry J belongs to Harry Johnson and t cost money to rent it. At the time Jack Ruby was producing music, Harry J was booked non stop: Bob Marley, Toots, Gregory, everyone used it. So the studio was productive. It is still open and it has a wicked sound and atmosphere!

  • surprisingly awesome XD

  • Nice try mate but I worked on this doctumentry and this is not the music that went with it. But nice dub any way.

  • ROOTS SCHOOL DEM

  • mmmmmmmmmmm

  • Kidus i.Graduation in Zion.Film Rockers.

  • dubwiseeeeeeeee love it

  • the footage of china and robbie is from jack ruby's studio!it features in "rockers"!

the footage of jammy is from bunny lees studio,on a johnny clarke sesion.

it can be seen on the documentary "deep roots music"

the riddim is "bosrah"by prince alla, which tapper produced, and rode over himself!

basically,a pretty irelivent bunch of footage!

  • if jack ruby had a big studio like this why wasn't it more productive?

  • @rootsradicsfan a big studio like what,bredren?

  • the one that chinna and robbie are in, idren

  • @rootsradicsfan he was a very picky producer and only produced the best.

    SEEN!

  • @rootsradicsfan

Harry J studio didnt belong to Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby had a sound system in Ocho Rios (or was it M'Bay?) but was renting studio time like other producers who didnt own a studio (like Bunny Lee or Sly & Robbie).

Harry J studio belongs to Harry Johnson. When Jack Ruby was producing music, Harry J was booked non stop: Bob Marley, Toots, Gregory, everyone used it. So the studio was productive.

It is still open and has a great sound and atmosphere! I used it to produce Horace Andy

  • The dub is a Tappa Zukie dub, its the dub of ''Bosrah'' by Ras / Prince Alla. This is the version from the LP Tappa Zukie in Dub. Don't know why Jammy is used on this video

  • Bang on mate!

  • Thats Jammy at the control, Tappa not even in this video.

  • True, this is Prince Jammy dub. Not sure why Tappa is even mentioned.

  • dub♫ and ganjah♥

  • Dub, this all best one !!!

  • mi sure dat jammy pon dis cip is from another film, dem splice im int it..

  • Dude weed is a must with this xD awesome

  • You se them girl that were in the back smoking collie? Them is the realest bitches in the world. You could look at them and tell that they were ill. I know a couple chics like that. I wonder how they are know? are they even still alive?

  • that's King Jammy at the sound board!

  • yes ... the main scene is a 10 second loop from the kiddus I / Augustus Pablo Szene in rockers. Song called Graduation in Zion.

  • @purlinoo augustus aint in rockers!?

  • sure he is ...

  • where?wot scene bredren?he's been left off the credits too?

  • the dub is by tappa zukie, but the video contains material from various sources and shows king jammy at the controls, not tappa zukie.

    great dub though... :)

  • most of this footage is from rockers - kiddus i.

    ???

    not so cool

  • amazing idd

  • I love this vintage mixer King is using there. Anyone knows this model?

  • amazing

  • tune call " Man from Bosrah" on Stars label

  • Great music.

The rithem reminds me of an artist named by 'Guarilla Indube', lost the album though.

  • seriously cool ! one of the best dubs ive heard, thanks for putting this on you tube i love it.

  • THE SOUL IN AUDIO!

    5 STARS!

  • what's the history of the superb rhythm - know tapper zookie used it a couple of times - man from bozrah etc.....sounds somewhat scratch like...?

  • whats wid da vid mon, not da music

  • Crucial rhythm

  • LOL

    good fake!

Chinna & Robbie at Harry J (Rockers movie, recordin Kiddus I: Graduation in Zion)

and Jammy mixin at Tubby's studion with Bunny Lee, Scientist..(Deep Roots Music doc)

  • good catch. this looks like more of the video from the johnny clarke studio sessions. chinna has that distinctive sound and robbie is unmistakable in those sessions.

  • @JahRiseI who cares ? the music its what it matters , the video its the uploader choice

  • @vicenzo0 i care, this makes confusion for thoses who dont know.

it isnt only music, sound or fashion but CULTURE!

in this video we dont see Prince Alla the singer, or Tappa Zukie the producer, or Scientist the dubbing engineer..

When i saw this video for the first time, i expected to see mr Tappa Zukie himself making a dub session..

but as i said two years ago..its a good fake video, and i named the sources because the uploader didn't do it, its a mistake.
