  • Wow so you took your kids there and taught them the life in Laos? This is awesome... did they pick up anything or learn anything?

  • hmong mica pride

  • What a great learning experience!!

  • i think its stupid how ppls listen to all the rumors and shit....u never knoe if its true or not if u dont try it out for urself...i knoe i had lots of fun the tree times that i've been there.....did everything with them from the easyest job to the hardest task.....its a great experiance that i think every one should try.....n better for the younger ppls too cause our traditon is slowly disappering n they cant learn some respect too...speaking from a person's point of veiw

  • lol.. we got people's arguing who is smarter over the internet.... that doesn't prove who's smarter, but it does show who's stupid.. lmao

cool vid, i would like to go overseas with my dad one day

  • Hmong or laotian in laos have their own good. Hmong and laotian that in US have their own good too. My parents said back in laos you have to work hard but you be your own boss, can break any time any day you want. In the US good that we work in the office with cool condition and got paid but everything go by time and day follow precedures or else fire. I know if I happen to go back I can not survive because I never work in the field. That is why don't want to go and never feel like going.

  • Not me, USA is way better, you can go camping any time you want, nice parks, nice restrooms, and activities to play like playground.

  • Stupid hmong ppl... always fighting among each other.

  • I don't know the recent Hmong history very well, but I've heard there is a disconnected between the American Hmong youth and elders, or at least a lack of connection ot the Hmong homeland.

It'd be smart if he American Hmong leaders arranged for a summer camp type thing, where hundreds of American Hmong kids would go live with the Hmong in Laos (those are aren't persecuted.) The large group would mean discounted travel, and they'd bring a little money spent in the Laos/Hmong communities.

  • You are stupid for making that statement SengokuProduction. Hmoob in the US are prosperous and will one day bring change to Laos. We are a force that will be felt and heard in the future!

  • if loas kids are so smart why do they drink from a well that is downstream from their house.

  • @slothtiger They're smart as in working smart. They know more responsibility and are hard working. While we Hmong Americans are smart as in Educational smart. There's a difference/

  • imma go live in laos for a few years anyways....go n help them.......laos is better than the us...cuz u dont rlly have to rent n crap like in the us do......but its harder to get money......but id rather live in laos than the us......xD no hatin

  • i dont go to church im the first generation in the us...............so im like 45% american.......but my family and many many other families still go the same thing they did back in laos

  • Hmongs in the U.S. are stupid and Hmongs in laos are smarter

  • why would you say that.......both are the same.....

  • Now...wait a minute here...Smarter in what??? in school or out in the field???

I think, the US kids are smarter in school then working in the field or hunting like the kids in Laos...that my two cents

  • @Kamenrider69 laos hmong kids are smarter at WORKING than LEARNING.

  • Comment removed

  • I recommend everyone to marry another race

  • Why do people keep saying that Hmong Americans wouldn't last in Laos? Yeah, there are a few lazy ones, but some of us are bigger and stronger now and we know what hard work is also. Why are you trying to seperate the two anyways and trying to stir up some nonsense, we're ALL the same, we're ALL Hmong.

  • And NO, I would not die if I went back to Laos. I know a few Hmong people that came here from Laos, and they're lazy as hell, and the kids were bad. It's about the values and the character of the person, not where they are or where they're from.

  • fuck you hmong american go to church bitch

  • the hmong in laos r more welled mannered than the hmong american did u c that one kid in the beginning????? its like that kid never saw a snail before.......

  • hey he's a kid.....what do u respect from them.....

  • Because of the Big ideal of the lao Vang Bah pao Patikan to inciting them to stand up against the government .Therefor the lao government have no choice but to do what's take to keep lao being Lao today's

  • That because these people are so stupid can't advance at all. Still using old straws to make their houses and shit. The best technology they have is agriculture hahahha....

  • dumb fuck it's because using straws are the cheapest way to make houses.bitch and if your scare to go church motha fucker

  • then why won't go out and help the dude

  • the Hmong in the US will died if they go back to being like the Hmong in Laos.

  • The guy or girl that stated " I'm in college and went to the European region", you shouldn't be saying about how smart you are and going around the world in soo many places.. lol... your writing grammar abilities suck BIG TIME!

  • I just feel sorry for the kids. I hope this is only an experience and not "return to live in Loas" for them.

  • i wouldn't mind living their after being over their for a month damm! i wish i didn't have to come back! Check my trip to laos it might get you a different point of view!

  • I do understand what you say and what you mean. I still recognize most town and villages. I still speak both Hmong and Laos. I have Hmong and Laos relatives in Vientiane, kilo 52, and VangVieng. I worked for 4 years in French guiana. Visited France, Germany, Morocco, and 4 months in Ivory Coast, west africa while stil in college. AND NO, I still feel sad for Hmong kids that has to go back to Laos and live there, because the parents chose to to go. Visit, that's fine.

  • Same with Alansoundara

  • Hmong kids born and raised in the US would never last more then a half an hour in Thailand let a lone Laos. Times have changed.

  • i miss Laos. I want to travel to the north next time I go. It's so natural & no bad pollution like in the US.

  • @Laosaugurl because they got nothing in laos that creates pollution lol

  • I survived fine when i lived with them, haha, but i had the American accent that made it difficult to communicate...

  • It's sad to see kids under 12 years of age talking only English to their own Hmong people....

  • you're a f**king Fag for posting this you know

if only i know where you live ***Smack in the face***

  • wow thats all chat only... hahaha!!! i will fuck you up then rape your sister nigga. cus i dunt fucken know your bitchmade ok.

  • khfreak07, your comment was totally unecessary.

I'm glad he posted this video. Made me miss Laos. I'm gonna take my family back there for a visit like that also.

  • the comment isn't toward the video

    it was toward fresno93703

sorry for looking like i just dis the video

  • What an interesting perception of the Homeland of my Parents...POST-WAR. I hope there's more to show off, I'd love to visit someday- After I finish off my Masters.

  • Lucky kids. Too bad i am afraid to set foot on laos soil.

  • there's nothing scarey about laos...forget what you hear and see on the news about the lao government...so many hmongs vacation there without any worries...just don't go there making porno and you be fine..

  • LMAFO...funny ass heck

  • hey thats the truth!...why you think some male hmongs dissappear with no trace...cuz rumor they did porno and lao hmongs didn't like american hmongs do porn with their daughters...they never return...DEAD I tell ya...but yeah hahahahaha

  • Lucky kids, get to visit Laos at his age.

I wanna go there too. The foods.

  • the soldiers

  • lmao day to day thing?

Im goign to work on a farm in laos for my whole summer! hahah

  • at least they eat fresh fish, meat, fruits vegetables...in America we eat frozen food deviod of nutrients....

look... they are fit not fat...and even w/ almost absolutely no personal belongings but the graces of the land they are happy!

  • this is good for the American kids so know how lucky they are to have clean place to sleep and clean running water.

  • LOL It's beautiful to see how Hmong-Lao and Hmong-American children interact with one another! Thank you for uploading.

  • in laos, there are quite a bit of hmong assimilating into lao culture. usually it's the ones that get higher education. my cuz are like that.

newho, carry that water is killer. how do they do it without spilling too much water.

  • Mr.Hnbno, many times I visited Yunnan, and even eating in Hmong restaurants. They live as common Chinese and speak Chinese.

I visited Houay-say 3 weeks ago. On the wall of my hotel, there was a sheet showing some important Lao Hmong leaders. How many local leaders in Houay-say? Along the way to Muang-sing, so many kinds of people are living along the road. People do not care who are who. But, as nation, people should have something in common.

  • Hnubno, one youTube:Xayaboury Part 6 End.

  • How FUN :)

  • I want to visit laos but I never have enough money because I need to give away money to my poor hmong kids so, I have to wait another 2 years.

  • Mr.Ncokoj86, in Muang-sing, some Hmongs are very rich:owners of CD shops, electric instrument shops, jewel shops. They say in Lao to their customers as the Chinese shop keepers do.

  • Isn't safety a big concern for Hmong in Laos right now?

  • How sad that Hmong American kids slowly assimilated into the American culture. Many of our children are just as hopeless in America as in Laos--many Hmong boys are doing poorly in school. I also believe that by taking your children to Laos for a visit, it will not change them (if you want them to see how poor people in Laos are and hoping for your children to change).

  • Its NOT a sad thing American-Hmong children assimilate the American culture; being that I am one of those American-Hmong Children. Its ACTUALLY quite sad when Hmong children of this generation CANNOT identify themselves because the older generation can only hope their children carry the SAME OLD legacy and traditions that DIRECTLY CONFLICT with their socioeconomic climate/ situations and then they only complain and DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT! They BLINDLY throw the responsibility around!!

  • the big kid with the umbrella is definitely a hmong american..well fed big boy! you dont get that big eating roots now

  • no access to clean water...and many other factors...which i believe is one of the reasons why i lost 4 older brothers due to sickness back in laos. whew! i'm sure glad i live in the USA.

  • ew.

  • This trip seems pretty fun for family associating. I might thinking about it.
