Style is the word that comes to mind whenever I hear Jimi Hendrix. He is a very, very distinctive voice. His influences come flying out of his music but at the same time he is original. The same could be said of Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Robert Nighthawk, Hubert Sumlin etc. Is it just me or the bass player on this track laying down the groove?

The same way I consider Hendrix as one of the best guitar players of the world, despite that he was much more than just a blues man. And I don´t pay too much attention of what specialists say. People love to label everything. If Jimi was a king playing blues, he was a god playing music.
