It's 308 and the barrels are fine the way they are. With full barrels this thing weighs a ton. Still with 9 inch barrels it’s nothing I would want to walk around with all day.

Not true. The advantage of shorter barrels it lighter weight. Firing a Mini Gun you get two forces thrust and torque. There is going to be more thrust with longer barrels but not much. I’m planning on doing a live fire video later this fall and I’ll try shooting the gun with both types of barrels.

There’s not a lot of recoil to handle, it’s more the torque…but that’s not bad either. It also helps that I know what I’m doing. This is not a setup that I would just let anyone use. But for safety reasons we were using BLANKS!, for this demo. I am planning on doing a live fire demo this fall and will post that video as soon as I have it.
