My dad visited regularly and contributed substantially financially.Both parents were college educated and worked very hard all their lives.I have friends that have 1,2, and some, 0 parents. They don't blame or even think about the "white man". We're people just like any other race. Working and living to provide some level of happiness to our families. I'm a software engineer. Friends are fairly successful too.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I'm black and my parents divorced when I was a kid. My dad visited regularly and contributed substantially financially.Both parents were college educated and worked very hard all their lives.I have friends that have 1,2, and some, 0 parents. They don't blame or even think about the "white man". We're people just like any other race. Working and living to provide some level of happiness to our families. I'm a software engineer. Friends are fairly successful too.

it's just a case of confusing association with causation, black men might not be as present in their childrens' live when compared as a demographic collective with others but that doesn't necessarily prove that it's because they are black, the mere fact that there are fatherless households in other ethnic groups should indicate that you need to look at what those fatherless households do have in common, and yes, more than that it's a case by case issue, generalizations are lazy and weak.

Anyway, as I was on my first lay down, and as we finished that job, the same gentlemen said they had found a 'dry hole'. I'm still like duh...and he said we we're supposed to put casing in the hole and Halliburton said we weren't going to, and therefore weren/t going to 'plug the holes'. As when they don't plug holes, water table gets chemicals and oil and gas along with other sediments etc. You obviuosly know that more than I do. Yes, thats happens in any company, oil & gas or not. Not all are like that buddy. you talk about fines and INCs. you can get INCs for the smallest tic tac shit out here. you count up all these INCs and fines but you cant tell me what they are for!
