Just a small correction: the wastegate is a bypass-valve for the exhaust to control the turbo-boost. It doesn't make a sound. You probably meant the BOV (Blow Off Valve) ;-)

Again. No. I said from the beginning I was talking about the turbo spooling, last time I checked, BOV's don't spool and if its blowing off while ur on the gas somtin aint write. And next time get your info right and I don't kno wat cars. You hang around but wastegates can and do make noise. ur most likely not gonna hear an internal wastegate but an external one yes. Especially if its dumping into the atmosphere instead of the exhaust.

I know you were talking about the turbo spoolup. But you and hfuesgvhugsd were also talking about the sound of a wastegate. IF this Lancia has an external wastegate and dumps it's exhaust through a "screamer pipe", I'm sorry but just can't hear it in this video. There's only the sound of engine (of course), the high whistling from the turbo (including the spoolup) like at 0:10 and 1:39, the BOV at1:06, and the turbo chatter (compressor surge, giving the flutter wooop woop woop sound) at 0:18

no it has no supercharger man,i saw the car in real life in GHD Ilirska bistrica.. Hillclimb race that happens every year in slovenia it only has a SINGLE turbo, no supercharger..

umm... it's a turbo integrale.

Sorry to say this but, both supercharger and turbo would be hard to install, and make it work.

If it were supercharged you would hear an insane whistling sound as the car accelerates. while there's only a blow of valve sound. (commonly and mostly used on turbocharged cars)
