holy cow! She's in BETA! I thought she was passed that level, when i was watching the video. I mean, she can do a biellman spiral, a Y spiral, and a two foot spin! That is freestyle material! I'm only in gamma, and i can't do the biellman spiral, Y spiral, OR a two foot spin! (well, maybe i can do the two foot spin...)

You'll be just fine. Just like I tell my daughters, "just enjoy and have fun". more then 1/2 of the audience probably don't even know how to skate anyway.. so just think... they are looking at you because you are doing such a fine job. =)

She is 8yr old on this video. I believe this was recorded sometime late Mar or early Apr of 2007. Now, she's 9yr old and she's taking her Preliminary test in April this year (2008).

WHOA!!! She's pretty good for a beta! Why isn't she on freestyle already? Some of the things she did are for freestyle level 1 right?

She didn't even know how to stand on the ice just 9 monthes before this was taped. She just happened to learn quick and she was very flexible from some gymnastic before. Both me (mother) and her coach felt she wasn't mentally ready for Freestyle at this time. However, She is now getting ready for her PRELIMINARY test in April.. (She pasted her Pre-Pre Moves and Freestyle last year). =)

Thank you. She tries very hard. Skating and reading is only she can think about these days. (not complaining.. hahaha) She's very excited to take her pre-pre test in August. Only skating for exactly 1yr.. that's not so bad, I guess.
