  • @Omnicron777 I write about the earlier Mithra in my article.

  • What about Krishna? Much earlier than Jesus....

  • @Underleaf76 No better. See my website Tekton Apologetics and look under Krishna.

  • I'm an atheist but I've never heard these bad arguments about Mithras, but I'm glad you busted them. Sadly there are morons in every group. Atheist does not equal skeptic sadly, and videos like Zeitgeist full of bad information seems to be issues people cling to without actually looking up the sources themselves. Blind faith is bad even if you do reject some beliefs

  • @anubis2814 Kinda interesting.

This is why YouTube is valuable.

I make a silly video that everyone tells me is a cheesecake sundae topped with cheese whip. Yes, I admit it is cheesy.

Then an atheist thanks me for exposing the bad arguments about Mithras.

    Which is it?

In any case, you deserve the ANTI-screwball of the month award for your intellectual honesty.

  • For a first video, I'd say congrats, your information was good, but work is needed on the presentation style. I love tektonics and i think - no wait - i expect a tad bit more - but please dont take this the bad way - good wrk, and please i want more - where is the dionysius buster? the adonis buster? the everyone-was-a-saviour-but-jesus buster?

  • @savioblanc

We just did one on Dionysus that is now being edited...these are tests for larger projects where skits like these will be inserted between more factual stuff.

  • @jpholding - im just glad you guys are doing something - here's a tip - check out Word on Fire by Fr. Barron - he's launched someting called the Catholicism Project - your most likely not a Catholic, but have a look through his vids and see what you you think

  • Alright can i humbly make a suggestion - now i'm not saying i did not enjoy the humour, what i'm saying is that maybe we didnt need it. Also, while Mithra may be mocked, I think in this situation, he can be shown as the fraud that he is perhaps by the end.

  • Haha! Great! Thanks Mithra Buster! Keep up the good work!

  • Is that really you, Saddam? I thought you bought the big one back in '06!

  • Actually he looks more like Jamie.

  • silly mythra.......jesus is going to have to open a can of whoopass

  • Wake me up when its over

  • *Pours a bucket of water on your face* Wake up!

  • This is so excellent I am going to feature this on my channel.

  • Great way to present the facts! I recognize JP Holding! LOL!

  • Lol hilarious.

  • What CHVNX doesn't know is that Judaism is older than the "Ugriatic [sic] texts". The Bible speaks of the pagan Canaanites.

  • Good show!

  • JPH... JPH... JPH... Have you been spending Tekton money again? :P

    Hilarious, though :D

  • There should be a series of this sketches.

  • I second that! d-(^_^)

  • Great Video.

  • It's funny that these guys don;t even know how to pronounce the words they are using but they are all of a sudden experts on near Eastern mythology.

I wonder if you'll make a video about the Ugriatic texts with multiple gods named El, Yahway, etc. Jewsus and Mithras have much on common, but YHWY is just an amalgamation of near eastern Gods and myths. None of it is historical nor backed by archeology.

  • Educated people laugh at your straw man arguments.

  • Great!

  • Lulz were had. Of course, stupid people will probably still remain intoxicated in their myths, rather than accept the fact that Mithra and Jesus are nothing alike.

  • this is what JPH does in his spare time?

    haha

  • This is soooooo cheesy but nevertheless, good stuff. :)

  • aaaaaaaaah.
