@JuanXboxLive Actually it's based on the Norse Mythology.. the yggdrasil (nordrassil in wow) was believed to be a tree that connected all the 9 worlds of the Norse Mythology. So it zelda didn't create anything either

Correction: it was not the horn that killed the World-Tree, but it were the whisps. Altho a lot of them sacrificed themselfs (they are believed to be the spirits of dead Nightelfs) they saved the world. The horn was only used to signal the attack.

@nawstra578 Malfurion used the Horn of Cenarius which was lost (after the death of Archimonde) until now, when he returned after the Cataclysm. The horn's power was strengthened by nature itself after Archimonde had been so destructive. As well as annihilating Archimonde, the horn killed Nordrassil (the World Tree) so even if the Horn was always that powerful, they probably wouldn't abuse it because of how dangerous it could be.

@SoulFire36900 The WoW lore is not canon, for one. Secondly, the WoW lore is entirely made up, and will have nothing to do with Warcraft 4. WoW is a dress up game, and not part of the saga. Warcraft 4 will begin a short while after the events of TFT campaign ended.

@obayll Well then you must be new to Blizzard and the Warcraft universe. You probably played WoW first, before Warcraft 3.

Blizzard has already stated numerous times that WoW lore is not canon, that the game WoW was created as an interlude game during the finishing touches of D3 and SC2.

Warcraft 4 will continue on from War3, and none of the WoW bullshit will be included, because it is NOT CANON. The WoW franchise just went in a diff direction than the actual storyline = Not Canon.

WoW ended with WOTLK, so did the lore and the story line. I will always remember WoW as vanilla and TBC :).

And the narrator near the end is also the narrator in Soulreaver, another epic game..

Seeing Archimonde destroyed and Medivh redeemed made me very satisfied. Not only did the Burning Legion lose its field-commander and greatest general, but also did it show the Alliance and Horde CAN work together.

Just look what we did at Mount Hyjal: We can do it again in Icecrown, if we work hard enough.

I would say that it showed that three factions can work together! You had the new Horde(Orcs, Tauren, Trolls), the old Alliance(Human, High Elf, Dwarf, Gnome), and the separate Night Elf race.

But the Frozen Throne complicated things. Helves leave the Alliance and become Belves. Nelves join on up. Forsaken joins Horde, and so on. Peace is still a distant dream.

A true man who swore to take up the task and save Azeroth from being destroyed by the Burning Legion, the reason to why the BL was coming back to Azeroth is because of the Orcs, they were slaves to them before.

As for Thrall wanted to rally the Horde can give them freedom and no longer serve the BL.

actually If you read the files on the warcraft three disk It says sargeras was sent by the pantheon to jail first the dreadlords, and was corrupted, then after he jailed the erdar he later betrayed his fellow titans and founded the burning legion. It doesn't say sargeras created the erdar by corrupting dranei, in fact it is the other way around- the deadlords and erdar corrupted Sargeras

They landed in Outland (Draenor), where the passive Orcs lived until Kil'Jaeden followed them and corrupted the orcs. The orcs eventually attemted to destroy the Draenei and almost did. A few Draenei got away on the Naaru vessel (Velen included) and landed in Azeroth.

Just a bit of Warcraft history :)
