Comparing these kind of trials with that of Stalin trials is a bit exaggerated!! Stalin send 6 million people to Gulags without a single sentence!! And he passed around 55 million political sentences among them very high level political leaders like Zinovjev, Kamenev, Bukharin etc..(executed) One have to realise that these figures were great deal of population of USSR!!
