Alright i'll give it a try. I live in the middle of nowhere downunder and regularly like to lay on my trampoline in the summer with my girlfriend. I can't say I have seen many meteors in quite some time. but i've seen tons of satelites and tumbling spacejunk. the iss is impressive.
i grew up on the countryside (more or less) and there were plenty of stars in the sky. i used to stand outside and watch for asteroids every now and then and normally i didn't have to wait longer than a few minutes until i saw one.
since i'm living in the city (over 10 years) i haven't seen a single one.. =/
i need to pay more attention to the sky when i'm on my next snowboard-holidays in the mountains..
Technology could do the impossible!!

Maybe a small photo or icon to indicate what a +4 or -2 should look like under the number would help

The "fireball" you show at 0:30 has long ago been identified as an airplane contrail in the sunset.
