Actually the #2 driver Matt wendt is perfectly fine, he actually raced 2 weekends later when he got his car back together... and he told me something about fixing his jet ski. lol.. so hes fine..
I was sitting by turn four. Everyone was kinda waiting to see how Matt was(2). He gets out and is seen walking, then next thing you know the annoucer sez they need help in the infield. everyone is running over to turns 1+2.......it was a hellva hit. The video doesn't even do it justice! I've raced 99, I've been wrecked and on fire....that was a hard hit my friend. Sorry about the points, sorry about car. Glad you're Ok.
Honestly that's one of the hardest hits I have seen at 99. I actally cringed at that hit. U should of saw the drama that happen after u got in the pits Travis. Glad u r ok Travis and hope u are out there next Saturday
I was hoping someone captured this on film. it was a great start to a race.. My car was fast, and then the 2 car and 290 car got a little rough with each until ultimately the 2 car was spun and met me head on. Blacked out and point of impact but somehow drove it to the infield!! it was a crazy ride. The 350 car crumbled like a soda can on right front frame horn . shes dead now.,, points lead down the shitter...

ouch, that looked like it hurt. i nailed the wall in one of their enduros this season but thats got nothin on this. congrats to him on a great season
