Not a horrible rendition i'm sure, but it's hard to discern a lot due to vid quality. Bass notes were lost, higher notes were shrill, and the parts with eerie dissonance just sounded kinda off. Love the song, though.

I think it has more to do with the quality of the video than the actual performance, I saw it at VGL Houston this year and it was absolutely amazing, by far my favorite (yes, better than One Winged Angel).
This one IMO is waaayyyy wayyyy better than the FF7 one. The construction is a lot more mature. FF7 One Winged Angel is too rigid too MIDI like. You can literally hear him experimenting with more instruments, choral and diff tempo, rythums.
