This reminds me of how i felt when i got saved. Maybe our mission is to believe in Jesus and if we already do then our mission is to tell other people about Jesus. Even the NDE people don't know the meaning of life because they aren't able to bring that back with them. If they are told during the experience they are not able to remember it afterward. We can only speculate. But that's my guess. I did read of one Buddhist monk who came back to life and said we needed to believe in Jesus.

We are spiritual beings having a physical experience. We are here simply to experience duality and separation, time and space, and holistically imprint memories of what it's like to live in a 3 dimensional + 1 time universe. Because of those overwhelming feelings of oneness and connectedness in heaven it is impossible to become a separate, unique, individual in heaven. Life is one big long lesson in what it means and how it feels to be separate.

Trust me you don't have to have a near death experience to "find god" so to speak. Anyone can have this experience if they seek it hard enough. That is seek with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and every fiber of your being. This experience happened to me when I was 18. And when I say same experience i'm talking about the feeling of total bliss, endless love(as if a cup runneth over that can not be contained), and a feeling of a reuniting with loved one and friends.

I've had a similar experience as this woman's experience and my experience was more vivid than human reality/consciousness and certainly any dream I've ever had. The reason people ascribe it to God is because they usually become one with or experience total love, unity, oneness, knowing, contentment, no negative emotion/feelings,etc. All of these attributes point to God or whatever you want to call it.
Perhaps what you're saying is correct however even if that is the case, why does it seem like there is so much hate in your words? So these people claim to have an experience that dramatically changed them and because it doesn't fit into how we understand reality, they have the problem? Yet if someone claimed to have been deeply touched and change by a fictional story that one can say is no less real than what these people speak of it's acceptable? Let's try to come from understanding, not hate.

@AndyKakoge The Bible tells us to "test" the spirits to see whether or not they are from the True God. If they deny that Jesus Christ is God, and came in the flesh, then they are demonic spirits. If they, (man or angel), teach any other gospel or message to you other than what is in the Bible, then they are demonic and cursed, and should be rejected. Feelings can be very deceiving, which is why everything we do, say, believe, and think, needs to be in agreement with what the Bible teaches.

I don't know what people find so "unbelievable" about NDE's and OBE's. That stuff has been well documented in the (1000's of year old) Tibetan Book of the Dead. They are also a system of values and rules for navigating that world at the time of the religion's inception. When u realize the spiritual part of these religion is the symbolic part not the literal then everything makes perfect sense. A good book on this is Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell. If u don't have know this secret, nothing will ever make sense

I had an OOBE that gave clarity and form to what the bible is all about. It is a history of ancient times with prophecy of the future and mentions the eternal kingdom that always was. We are not evolving we are all moving in God's time. We are the way God created us and can't reach God-like status. Jesus is the only way, hell is for those who think anyone can live anyway that they choose by sinning and becoming unrighteous. You ma'am are most certainly an imposter.

She decribes the love I felt when I almost died. It stayed with me a few months and when it left I was left to things as they were and it has been so hard. Maybe that is why we all can not remember what happens. It would be so hard to live and do what we need to do. I have since lost people I truly love and I know they are ok. I know my mission is to give that love to as many people as I can and that is why God allowed me to feel it. Nothing on this earth could feel that wonderful

This reminds me of how i felt when i got saved. Maybe our mission is to believe in Jesus and if we already do then our mission is to tell other people about Jesus. Even the NDE people don't know the meaning of life because they aren't able to bring that back with them. If they are told during the experience they are not able to remember it afterward. We can only speculate. But that's my guess. I did read of one Buddhist monk who came back to life and said we needed to believe in Jesus.

We are spiritual beings having a physical experience. We are here simply to experience duality and separation, time and space, and holistically imprint memories of what it's like to live in a 3 dimensional + 1 time universe. Because of those overwhelming feelings of oneness and connectedness in heaven it is impossible to become a separate, unique, individual in heaven. Life is one big long lesson in what it means and how it feels to be separate.

. Whenever a person has an out of the body experience and travels down a tunnel that is on the way down to hades or tartarus. You do not travel to heaven through any tunnel. The people you saw were not your relatives but evil spirits pretending to be them. That light is satanic and used to direct you away from the true light. You have no idea the danger you were in!!! Trust me you don't have to have a near death experience to "find god" so to speak. Anyone can have this experience if they seek it hard enough. That is seek with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and every fiber of your being. This experience happened to me when I was 18. And when I say same experience i'm talking about the feeling of total bliss, endless love(as if a cup runneth over that can not be contained), and a feeling of a reuniting with loved one and friends.

@ajhoover83 Not everything is humanly explainable and knowable (limited 3-D space/time). I've had a similar experience as this woman's experience and my experience was more vivid than human reality/consciousness and certainly any dream I've ever had. The reason people ascribe it to God is because they usually become one with or experience total love, unity, oneness, knowing, contentment, no negative emotion/feelings,etc. All of these attributes point to God or whatever you want to call it.

So these people claim to have an experience that dramatically changed them and because it doesn't fit into how we understand reality, they have the problem? Yet if someone claimed to have been deeply touched and change by a fictional story that one can say is no less real than what these people speak of it's acceptable? @AndyKakoge The Bible tells us to "test" the spirits to see whether or not they are from the True God. If they deny that Jesus Christ is God, and came in the flesh, then they are demonic spirits. If they, (man or angel), teach any other gospel or message to you other than what is in the Bible, then they are demonic and cursed, and should be rejected. Feelings can be very deceiving, which is why everything we do, say, believe, and think, needs to be in agreement with what the Bible teaches.

@vinni906 how can a believer truly die but the Bible describe death as separation from God. when one dies HIs soul goes to Hell or to be with the Lord. This is why Jesus told the man at His right hand that this very day u will be with me in paradise. However, when u read the Gospel of Philip, it describes nonbelievers as never truly die for they were separated from God all their heart so please correct me if i'm wrong somehow but discern to see if what i say is true or not.

I don't know what people find so "unbelievable" about NDE's and OBE's. That stuff has been well documented in the (1000's of year old) Tibetan Book of the Dead. Sure the phenomena is difficult to prove, but this crappy debate is old and i'm pretty bored of the flack NDE'ers get. If it really were a hoax then there wouldn't be so many thousands of people experiencing it throughout history.

Great account; I think that we can all learn something from these NDE stories. Maybe not a drastic shift of values or our lifestyles, but perhaps a broader perspective of the nature of life & powerful intent of love.

@ajhoover83 Well, as simple as this: there IS something (you clearly don't know, understand, or have felt before), that makes them realize about the difference between their experience and a dream. You can't make a statement based on a simple judgement. Live it (or die) and then talk.

@ajhoover83 People aren't assured by the same thing. These people are comforted by the same things, each time. People who have never believed in God do not dream about God for reassurance (athiests). But these experiences are just as common with athiests. Some people experience hell, that sure as shit isn't reassuring, is it? We're all the same in the end.

@ajhoover83 Come on man. People do not dream after they've flatlined and are proven to have no brain activity. (If they die near medical attention). People of all faiths will report the same things, probably not even hearing other peoples testimonies. Floating above their own body and freely able to move about, anywhere they choose. Darkness and a pin point of pure light. They will themselves to the light and are greeted by the light and perhaps a loved one. It's far fetched but... hey who knows

@penguin311magic i am in no way arguing with you because i believe in the afterlife, but i must point out that the brain does not cease functioning immediately when the heart stops. there can be several seconds of brain activity even after having flatlined. but like i said i am not arguing with you because there are still numerous unanswerable questions.

I have some questions that may sound stupid...do people who experience ndes still have the feeling that they are breathing??? how can they be sure that they're not dreaming, I mean, what's their level of consciousness? I feel I'm conscious while I dream but it's different from the conscience I have when I'm awake...anyway I believe in what they experience
