  • It's 1. to 1.5 grams per KILOGRAM of bodyweight....NOT per POUND of bodyweight. The video above is correct! This metric to metric equation is right, but in the U.S., we put everything in terms of pounds, that's where the confusion is coming in. Most lifters in the U.S. have NO idea how many Kilograms their body weighs. 165 lbs. is about 75 Kilograms. X that by 1.5 and you get about 112 grams of protein per day. I believe it's actually less then that. I believe 1.0 grams per Kg is enough.

  • completely false? 300g is a lot of protein dude. Hows your stomach on that level of consumption. I weigh 118 im not going to consume 300g of protein and feel sick all the time. I only need 93 grams and thats why you need to calculate depending on your body fat. Seriously completely false no

  • no limit but it will hurt your stomach or ass if u know what i mean

  • trust me i know!

    200g per day lol

  • Its a simple fix..Eat 2 or more cups of veggies(I eat frozen greenbeans or spinich) and drink a liter of water a day. And will have you bowels back to normal..I ate veggies at first I was still constipated a trainer told me more water and it worked.

  • There is a limit on protein coz you should avoid overloading your liver and kidneys. Around 150g per day is enough if you are a bodybuilder.

  • this is completely false. It all depends on your activity level and weight. you can even go 300g a day, depending your needs.

  • can u over dose on protein or is there no limit.

  • If you overdose your body turn the excess in amomnia and contaminate you causing a catabolic state making you loose lean body mass, for a 4 times a weak w. a medium intesinty level of training 2 grams per pound are sufficient, but remember you already consume protein on your daily diety, so take care with supplementation like lactolbumin (whey protein), the right thing to do is go to see a m.d. especialized in sports and fisiology and enter in a high grade gym, good luck with your training.
