the cable does it's job. i think the more popular branded and expensive ones do the exact same thing. I can send and receive MIDI data. so i can playback and record. try checking the drivers. btw, I'm using Win7 but I bought this when I was using a WinXP and it works on both OS.
I have one of these but I cant seem to get the OUT to work...The sound can go to my keyboard, but I cant get any reaction from the keyboard to the computer...(like pressing keys)...I'm trying to get my keyboard to work with Synthesia but I cant figure it out...Computer to keyboard is fine...its the keyboard to computer that's giving me issues...Anyone having similar issues, or maybe have a fix??
none of my in and out buttons flash.i cannot get my yamaha cs2x to install iv been trying hours.i do not have a disc i downloaded from website,and it isnt showing up in device manager.i get an error when trying to install the driver error 25001 please help or send me a correct driver thanks
Is that cable nice? I'm thinking about ordering one off of ebay because I don't want to spend a ton of cash on this yet. I want to make chiptunes with my keyboard. Any help is greatly appreciated. :]

I have this cable right now but I'm using a Digital Piano and it has a Midi IN AND OUT does that work?

All it is, is a $1 usb to serial converter chip and two connectors.

the MIDI USB cable is great ! and cheap ! I got mine from Ebay China. I think total including shipping cost less than $10. I highly recommend it.
