@subbadra I don't know exactly why (that would be interesting!) but Big Bertha is a quite famous weapon used mainly in WW I. The name was later generallized for huge German weapons. I think nowadays it's most associated with "huge" and "very dangerous", what would very wekll fit to Kali. I hope I could help!
@Mary5392 It's just because of her scientific name "jaffalis bertaloso." I guess bertaloso kind of sounded like bertha. They did that with the Nubbins from season 1.
@StargateUnending like show her and other animals the respect they deserve.. instead of being control freaks.. im native we would never think of hurting such a creature she has also been foretold in our stories also..
