Upgrade the hard drive and the memory. After a firmware upgrade you can install a 512 so-dimm pc100/133 card and upto 120gb drive.

Then you can install Tiger.

You can download a problem called "MacTube" or something like that. Basicly, it downloads the video to your hard disk, and play it from there.

I have a 466Mhz Graphite Clamshell. It has a 120 Gig hard drive. and 576MB ram. It is running Tiger 10.4.11 New batteries are available on line and will run the laptop for about 4 hours depending on what your doing. And from what he says it's bullet proof. LOL.

I just bought a battery off ebay about a month ago. I have a video on youtube called Upgrade the iBook Clamshell. It's not that interesting visually but has lots of really useful info on upgrading the Clamshell. Have a paper and pencil ready cause it's kind of rapid fire. get back to me on this but it can run 10.4 it's gonna lag a bit more uight want to expands the ram a bit and replace the HD but it can run 10.4 u just also need an external DVD rom or of they have a replacement for the clamshell for DVD thts great but it should work I got it to work on a 350 MHz so it should work it just might be a bit more laggy

Unforchunetly no, it does however have a cd drive for playing games and loading music. I personally love clamshell and refuse to switch to a macbook. Plus it will play halo demo!
